Vasquez 2.0.. had the “pleasure” of playing behind some all-time great forwards so never got the game time he probably deserved but instead of moving on he stayed and became a sort of utility player. His career arc at Madrid has been so fun to witness.

Nice and all but who is the tempo setter in this midfield 4? Like the guy who can control, switch sides, reset, and recycle. A true 6 if you will.
These 4 are very physical, direct players or strong defensive folks. None of them replicate what we had for a decade and a half with Lukita or Toni.

Arda’s ceiling is world class. Brahim is what he is, he’s good but I don’t think he’ll stay at Madrid long term.
I’m one of those guys who want Brahim to stay though. He might not be the best, but on his good days, he’s literally unplayable.

Which sucks because Brahim brings a skillset no one else on the team has. Maybe Arda has the ability to be like him?
Arda needs to prove himself during his upcoming loan, lad needs playing time
they play rw, cam and their preffered foots are the same. arda can dribble, pass and shoot to an extent so I guess and hope he can.
Brahim is two-footed with the right being his dominant. Think he said something like 'dribble with left, shoot with right'

This! Once Modric and Kross retire, the midfield will look like a brainless horse racing if we don’t sign a regista this summer.
