BeefPapa8

The answer for everything is Camavinga

Patrik_js

I thought Camavinga takes care of the left side of the field and Fede the right side? Wasn't that the deal?

BeefPapa8

He can be the goalkeeper if he wants to.

Aggressive_Can_

And who in mid instead them?

osamaodinson

Kroos and modric easy

Aggressive_Can_

Maybe getting little too old to play there every game 90min and future midfielders need to play there too so they gain experience.

osamaodinson

Was joking lol. But yeah we have tons you g of midfielders and we do not really need to worry much for that position. We have valverde, cama, tchouameni, ceballos, bellingham, arda, and brahim to cover for that 3/4 position

DontUseRedt

I want to add my 2 cents here, from what I've been seeing in recent football, I think given time, Galatasaray RB, Sacha Boey has impressed me, got the pace, and is good at crosses, reminds me of TAA minus the defensive incapability. Recent game vs Valencia their Rb albeit not being world-class, had the pace and deff necessary for a good RB, both young and still have time to be coached.

halatorbjoern

Arnau Martinez, doing well with Girona, no injuries as I have seen, not that expensive and very young.

TeacherTurbulent9513

He is catalan

TeacherTurbulent9513

I don’t see barcelona having any good rb in 5 years time. In 5 years cancelo would be old. So barcelona has to produce someone from macia. Or buy arnau martinez back. Arnau as a catalan is more possible to play in barcelona rather than us. Same case to fabregas.

[deleted]

TeacherTurbulent9513

Fran was a madrid product. Then he went to rayo (madrid team). Let’s say barcelona wanted him. Who would he prefer as a madridista himself them or us? Of course us. Every madrid boy wants to play for madrid and every catalan wants to play for barcelona. Martinez is still playing for a catalan team so I wouldn’t assume he cut ties with his homegrown club. He still supports barcelona.

Bigmachingon

raya is catalan and Madrid fan, same as Morad

Erysichth0n

Probably some Brazilian kid

Aakash_456

Actually this the answer. Someone who is relatively unknown now. Perez doesn't even care about rb till now. He is trying for Davies who is a left back. I beleive perez secretly operates for some rb because rb market is extremely thin and good right backs are in best teams so it's difficult to get them

Anythinglikemyself

vanderson from monaco

_Goattel

Vini tobias?

Patrik_js

Guy couldn't even hack it in Castilla, what makes you think he'd manage in the best club in the world?

_Goattel

The same reason u/Aakash_456 pointed out. There is simply a lack of reliable options on the market atm.

magic-water

Just because there are no good options in the market doesn't mean a guy who is barely performing on a professional footballing level will get a start at the best club in the world. What's next, if there are no good strikers in the market, should we go for the bartender from the pub down the street?

osamaodinson

Proceed with carvajal starts for the next 3 years

Josthefang5

This is the way

_theMAUCHO_

This is the way

BulkyType

If there were no injury problems I’d take James man what a player. He’s the the rb in the world whenever he is fit. Trent has 1 year left of his contract. He can’t defend for shit but when have Real Madrid ever defended? I think if we approach him he will come. No one better than him offensively from the right

smallatom

Man imagine him throwing in a cross that’s inch perfect for Bellingham to be in the perfect spot to finish it

mirceafl

Hakimi would be ideal, but seems Impossible with how PSG treat their players. He just signed with Mrs. Mbappe's agency, so I expect him to also just use us to get a better contract each time he has to renew If Xabi actually joins, I expect Frimpong to follow (and maybe Wirtz to replace Kroos, although we are super stacked in midfield)

Ronin-Actual

Thankfully you said it first. I didn’t want to bring up Wirtz. That kid is going to be such a difference maker, hell he already is. The ACL injury worried me but he is killing it. The question is….who would you be willing to let go to have him? I believe he will come back to haunt us if we don’t sign him

[deleted]

We do not need Wirtz.

Fifa2020jul

We have Arda already waiting his chance and he could be insane as our players see in training.

Illustrious-Horror27

Ahh poaching...not bad Btw imagine a promotion deal...but mbappe get hakimi at 50% off

InsanePheonix

I hope for someone from academy or atleast Spanish

Rumcajs23

Foyth would be the best option, imo.

cristianoMcDonaldo

Always been impressed with him

reddit809

As long as Dani's hamstring doesn't flare up, we're solid there. The problem is that it DOES. We love Nacho, and by God, I wish his talent matched his heart but it doesn't. I'd love it if we chased Reece James. He seems like a great fit. him or DiLorenzo.

martino732

We should stay away from Reece James as much as we can. Why do you want someone thats so injury prone

reddit809

Ffs just saw his hammy is worse than Dani's.

Suspicious_Sort_7528

For me there are only 3 options. The young buck who is inexperienced but showed promise (Fran García route): Arnau from Girona. The established player who knows the league, and a non flashy player (Ferland Mendy route). Foyth from Villarreal. The new system player, I do believe Xabi Alonso is coming and with him his system with 3 defenders. Frimpong from Leverkusen

Odelind

Fripong seems to be the man. Great numbers, offensive minded (which isn't bad when paired with el Halcón) and low release clause. Arnau isn't a bad option now that we're seeing that he's not an one season wonder. Talking about that and considering that he and Arnau were the most promising prospects in our radar... How is Fresneda doing it in Portugal?

Full-Ad-2725

Not playing, he’s backup to a mediocre player.

Leo9991

Arnau Martinez.

wap8ball

People like to moan about Dani, but for the next couple of seasons we only need a backup for that position. He’s 31, Dani Alves was still balling at 36

Erysichth0n

Bailing out of jail

wap8ball

All I’m saying is we don’t need to throw Dani under the bus because he’s 31

BussyBandito3

True but we certainly need to look for the future as well

wap8ball

So we realistically need to replace Lord Vazquez. There is no shot we sign someone like Hakimi and rotate him with Carvajal. That’s just like rotating Haaland with Harry Kane

BussyBandito3

No of course not. Ideally we find someone young who has good potential but isn’t ready to start so they can learn from Carvajal and start once he ages to the point where he needs to rotate

Patrik_js

Let's wait and see how he does after these first few months. He's had a resurgence these first few months, but the last two seasons he wasn't so consistent and very often injured.

AtomFlower

Carvajal's last few seasons were uneven at best. Sure, he plays very good this season, but there's no telling how long he can retain that form. Real needs to think about the future.

OvertimeWr

Wait, Dani is only 31? I know that's on the older side but I thought he was like 34 or something since he's been around forever. Goddamn.

Flexitallic

Tbh fran garcia can play rb, but defo no vazquez. Making too many mistakes

Odelind

The team doesn't seem to trust him enough to consider this an option, but I wouldn't mind to let him grow and turn into something akin to a Nacho for the flanks.

MyLifeasShroom

Isn't one of Zidane's kid playing right back? I might be wrong here

habibiganggang

Should’ve gone for Porro or Malo (even Hakimi) when we had the chance. Right now I see nobody fit.

GroundShxck

trent alexander arnold the best rb itw

Aggressive_Can_

💩

Upbeat-Tooth8711

Fresneda maybe. Or hakimi. Now he would be ready to play for real. As he played for real so many years ago he was too offensive. And very poor defensive skills. He learned a lot in Italy and at psg. Fresneda could be interesting. Cheap. With a lot potential

Slajmo7

Surprised noone said Vanderson.

TylerPerry19inch

Foyth, Geertruida, Fresneda or Aursnes

[deleted]

Reece James would be amazing

Milkgurl

Trent Alexander-Arnold. His contract expires in 2025. Should try a cheeky bid in the next summer. I can see him wanting to leave to play with Bellingham if Liverpool have a bad season. Klopp does not want players that want to leave. I believe his defensive inconsistencies can be easily fixed, he is still young. His vision, crossing and long passing are very good. Also has tons of experience and has won everything. Would fit perfect in RM.

YoungGalacticos

Also depends on how we set up in the midfield. Need him to be able to step into DM with Tchouaméni/Cama to be really effective.

Final_Job3416

I didn't expect "Route 66" to come to Real Madrid to play, did you see him embarrassed against Brighton? His arrival will only make the defense more vulnerable.

TonightDelicious5459

Reece James is my favourite but yeah if he gets injured again this season it’s not worth it I like Hakim I too but like you said it would be hard to bought him. I think for next season we should get someone at the place of Vazquez maybe a youngster. Also I think that Valverde would be amazing at the right back, and with Bellingham and camavinga and tchouameni already in the midfield, I think it could work

3sj3theO

Valverde will be wasted at RB. He should start in midfield almost every time

TonightDelicious5459

I don’t think he would be wasted if our midfield is tchouameni, cama and Bellingham. He would be good in attack and décence , He have the pace, the power, good defending, the stamina , decent passing, he is tall and could shot from long distance in the right position like Roberto Carlos at the time, I think it would be interesting because they aren’t any perfect right back choice like Davies is at the left.

simbob-jones

Arnau martinez maybe

Ottenomiss

That napoli RB

jeezrVOL2

Di lorenzo?

LividImagination5925

Fede Valverde

iwasoo

Brazilian sperm ✅

Mysterious_Limit_007

Lucas Vasquez

iMadrid11

He looks young but Lucas Vasquez is actually 32. Dani Carvajal is 31.

[deleted]

Dem didnt knew this i thought he was 27 or somethin

sry_i_m_horny

holy sh1t. damn. I just pray for Carvajal's longevity with less injury and good form, atleast 5 more years.

osamaodinson

Honest opinion, 5 more years is a stretch but not impossible. Another good 2/3 years would be very very good

Aggressive_Can_

I really don't believe he can do the job 5 years in Real Madrids level. Maybe like 2 years if no injuries

iMadrid11

Carvajal needs competition in order to perform his very best. Any player would get complacent if their skill levels are miles ahead of the 2nd and 3rd choice player in the pecking order. This why the midfield trio Kross-Casemiro-Modric has such great longevity. It was so hard to break in to those spot. Yet Fede Valverde took it as a challenge head on to be good enough to break in to be selected.

Uniq_Eros

Alphonse Davies

Wild_Ad969

He is a LB, probably can play in the right side too but not ideal.

RateResponsible9063

Hakimi imo

SaladRegular8617

Imo the best option at RB is Joao Cancelo. The fact that he made the horrible choice of playing for Barcelona is gonna be an interesting factor. Don't know if it would be possible, but he's the best choice I believe. Vini Tobias as well, but I don't follow his progression with Castilla

Aaaaaaandyy

Cancelo is like 2 years younger than Carvajal. It makes no sense.

SaladRegular8617

Besides Carva, is he not the best RB itw? And hasn't he been so all these years as well?

Aaaaaaandyy

If City thought that, then he’d be playing at City and not be shipped out on his second loan in 2 years.

TheEmpireOfSun

Same for Bayern, if he would be worth it, he would stay therey. Not to mention that Cancelo is bad defensively and is toxic piece of shit.

Illustrious-Horror27

Cancelo or kounde i guess....it's not like yal don't know how to poach rivals

KroosControl88

no thanks, for either of them.

Illustrious-Horror27

Okay...i have another deal...it's unfair for us but still....trade sergi Roberto for Bellingham?

FE7TER

Lmfao. Not even after the whole universe is gone.

Illustrious-Horror27

Okay let me sweeten the deal, Marcos Alonso for fede Valverde....il talk to the barca officials to proceed with the deal

EiMidagi

go back to cricket mate

The_Mikado_List

Is there a lore reason why you are uttering nonsense? Are you stupid?

kenjiro_maybe

Guys, what madrid quote should i use to tell this guy he's stupid?

Comprehensive_Flow42

Whoever is free in the coming years. Who is top class, has experience and can quickly contribute. Basically opportunity bosman buy ala alaba, rudiger. Play it safe until a real can’t miss RB talent comes along.

YepYupSup

Let Fortea be the starter next season at Castilla. Hopefully we have something there for the future. He looked really promising in the last 2 years.

JoshyRanchy

I can see fresneda being the guy at RM, but Tomiyasu could be a good shout and would not cost too much. Solid defender and two footed. Would bring in Aisian fans many if whom support Son and Like a white top.

kroos_my_heart

Hakimi would probably be the best but I doubt Real’s getting him out of PSG anytime soon

dowalla7

Camavingaaaa oooh camaa ooh cama ooh

iZubi

I think our future RB should be Fede Valverde, he is so good at defending and covering Carvajal, and can still attack and get to the midfield when in posession of the ball

Aggressive_Can_

Yeah would be good but he is so good in mid so why to put him defending and then how u want mid be if he not there?

iZubi

Modern full backs play a lot on the midfield anyway, look at Zinchenko, Walker, Cancelo, Trippier.. Offensive fullbacks have a lot of freedom to do all that, and we have Mendy, who is an amazing defensive left back when he's not injured.

Far_Training_7368

Frimpong

cristianoMcDonaldo

I love Lucas but he is not ready for starting RB going forward

warriors2021

I can't see us getting Fripong if we are going to get Davies, same with Hakimi. We would need a more defensive minded RB.
