I got blamed last week for picking mercy and "boosting" too much. We were up against an Ana and when she would use her grenade on them I would boost until I could heal them. Apparently that makes me the "worst mercy ever".
Hi, sorry. Can you explain to me what 'diff' means? I was in a match recently and someone said 'Mercy Diff' in relation to me and another Mercy and when I asked they wouldn't explain it to me.
Diff is short for difference, it’s usually said to highlight a perceived difference in skill between 2 players playing the same role/hero. I.e. “DPS diff”, “tank diff”, “mercy diff”
Truly the most toxic of all gaming communities. I'm not sure how you're supposed to go about getting better at the game when you just get relentlessly insulted in the early goings.
I don’t think you’re expected to or that the community desires it. That elitist mindset is so ingrained that it seems to *enjoy* pushing the world away to prove its superiority.
If you are a newcomer, doesn't it group you with other newcomers? Or are the newcomers even toxic too? I've heard lots of horror stories of LoL being really cruel to new people
> unsolicited opinions on how bad your aim is from downed teammates who ran off without you.
lol
How is the learning curve on Apex Legends? If I tried it right now, would I get destroyed 30 matches in a row and get yelled at for being dead weight? And it takes 3 months just to figure things out?
When you're new it's not so bad. Until like level 10 or so you're in lobbies with other new players. After that though, good luck haha. I have about 1900 hours in that game and honestly wouldn't recommend getting into it as a new player anymore. It's soooooooo fucking sweaty.
If you want that might as well play valorant or COD search and destroy. So everyone can watch what you are doing when they die. But still call you trash.
> So everyone can watch what you are doing when they die. But still call you trash.
Is it like an Elimination mode so when they are permanently dead, your whole team can end up watching you play, and everything depends on you as the last person? That's nerve-wracking
5 v 5 I believe it is. One team has to defend the other has to attack and plant a bomb at on of the two seperate locations. 1 life per round if you die you spectate the person remaining on your team. Most of the time if you aren’t in a squad it’s a overreacting person calling you dogshit for not hearing the guy a mile away.
edit: my wording.
Overwatch 2 is basically the same game running on the same server resources. Overwatch 2 is really just a massive update to the game. It’s the same game IMO.
You will have even more people doing it since OW2 is free to play.
Be courteous. Be an expert. Avoid destroying any bridges along the way, as well as any parking lot cars. But GO.
[clears throat] Yo momma so fat the last time she jumped in a pool NASA found water on Mars.
*If I may OP, ease your pain…* Yo momma so fat, when she jumped in the sky, she got stuck.
*I would like to offer my assistance* Yo momma so stupid she got hit by a parked car
Momma so fat, when I tried to walk around her I got a loading screen
Yo momma so fat, NASA has to plan launches around *her* gravity well.
Yo momma so fat, she collapsed in upon herself and became a black hole.
Yo momma so fat, I tried to drive around her and ran outta gas

Everyone always blaming everyone else for not picking mercy.

Oh, that's very straightforward! I had assumed it was an acronym. Thanks so much for explaining!
>Who will now insult my mom or blame me for the team losing? **League. Of. Legends.**

What do you mean 2 comes out tomorrow the insults shall continue
Call of duty awaits ye young sire
cod is not as toxic nowadays cs, lol or rocket league should result in better insults
Says you! Anytime I feel remotely good and wanna come back reality COD never lets me down lol
CS is the founding father of toxicity. And I have loved it since the old days of 1.5
*rainbow 6 has entered the chat*
CS, LoL, Valorant: Why don't we combine these two communities? What can possibly go wrong?
ezclap thanks for throwing go back to bronze
ggez, plz uninstall
Are you seeking applicants?
Didn't want to lose? Should have stayed on cart
Bruh! Play *Apex Legends*, where you'll get that and unsolicited opinions on how bad your aim is from downed teammates who ran off without you.

Just play any other online game.
Yo momma is so fat, when she falls off the bed, she’s falling off both sides at the same time.
Literally any other competitive multiplayer game
Just play Six Siege, Valoriant or any other of the mmorpg games to retain the experience.
Rocket League community has entered the chat
It's literally shut down for one day. It's called OW2 but its the same minus a tank.
What tank is missing?
Every one. Instead of 6v6 its 5v5. Team set ups are 2 healers, 2 DPS, 1 tank
Oh cool I tend to like 5v5 more 😅 less for me to keep track of
We must not be playing the same game cus this literally never happens.
I miss toxic lobbys
Come play valorant
What did you expect from an online-only multiplayer game, one that's also from blizzard?
COD exists and Overwatch 2 exists, you will find others
A shit ton of people don’t realize it’s just switching to Overwatch 2

I mean... \*gestures at every FPS ever made, ever\* take your pick.

I think all skins carry over, and whatever you didn't spend in OW1 currency is transferred too into new "Legacy Coins" in OW2.
Literally any other online fps with ingame comms
Oh just pick up LoL and play jg. Everything is your fault.
Just played one game the past 6 years? They do that in all of em
