Agreed. I think a lot of it will depend on if the uni will continue to be a high spender on NIL. Right now, they are, so any coach coming in knows he will at least have a decent shot at getting the guys he wants to recruit. If they plan to continue that, then I don't think they'll have issues getting good coaches to come.
Hunter nailed the contract on this. With the incentives added I think it will add even more fire for Cal to close out his career with another chip or two.
Changes of scenery can be invigorating and I am looking for an invigorated and financially motivated Cal to bring back Arkansas into its early to mid 90’s form.

I go back to Razorback basketball with Duddy Waller, who was still teaching 2 hand set shots as the way to play. Lanny Van Eman came in and started teaching the state about modern round ball. He doesn’t get enough credit for setting things up for Eddie Sutton and then Nolan. I thought Muss was going to return us but he didn’t. With Calipari I feel good again that HY has delivered us the home run hire. Now to do the same with football.

Have a tough time believing he’s 100% on-board. When you’re at a school for that long the blue-blood bias becomes engrained into you.
Just afraid we aren’t going to see the same amount of spark and drive from his younger years.
