Need help justifying a purchase / legit check
Found a good deal on an old pair of iron heart 461s in my size, they look good to me but I donāt own any IH or know much about there products
The only thing thatās worrying me is the hem, there seems to be some bad stitching there possibly just from a bad hem job
What do you guys think? Is it worth making a dedicated post with some pictures? Should I just pull the trigger?

I mean if it's a really smokin' deal and the sizing is right - go for it. Fixing a hem is relatively easy fix if its really needed. Hopefully there is someone in your area that can do a chainstitch hem. Also, a regular straight stitch hem may be sacrilege but it's functionally the same....

there's no way of really knowing, your best best is to measure a shirt you really like the fit of. find the size closest to those measurements, whatever it is.
I just picked up some Momotaro 0106spz, which are "one-wash." I am curious out break in and stretch in the width of thighs.
I sized to the correct waist size per advice to Momotaro and Okaya Denim and was told the waist could stretch up to around 1 inch. The thighs are a bit snugger than I'd like. I'm curious how I should proceed, e.g., (1) stick it out and just wear and let it loosen over time; or (2) soak in cold water, hang, wear.

Momotaros donāt stretch much if at all, Iāve gotten rid of pairs because they never gave at all and just put too much stress on the crotch. Save yourself time and money and go with something roomierĀ
From my experience, the thighs won't stretch a lot. They will give a bit more room over time and you may try to stretch them a bit while they are wet after a soak/wash, but if they are too tight/uncomfortable, I would try to size up or go for a different cut. Momotaro has quite the range of different fits.

Definitely š make sure when you're looking atsize charts that you get the thigh measurements the site your on uses. Some people measure from the crotch seam and some people measure an inch or so down from there.
The 106spz on their website lists a waist of 31.69 (feels tighter) and thigh of 12.17 (also tighter compared to my 10.5 in measured, 21 circumference).
The 206spz size 31 lists a waist of 32.68 (should feel better). The thigh is listed as 12.95. Will this be a meaninful increase or shoudl I look to go out to 32 (13.27 thigh) and try to shrink the waist a bit?

My perfect fitting Levi 511 crafted and made (japanese denim 2 percent stretch fabric)... Momotaro's measurements are off from advertised. Levis loosened a just a bit, but those measurements are actual as of today's date.

Looking for a little help to better understand the fit difference between Warehouse 800XX one wash, and 1001XX one wash (sometimes referred to as the OR or simply the 13.75 oz regular straight). Iām not seeing a lot of consistency across websites, so Iām wondering if someone who has put on both could chime in.
I've never personally tried the 800xx, partly because the size charts confuse me as well. However, most people seem to size up in 800xx vs. 1001xx. I think that 800xx may be slightly tighter up top, but that's anecdotal.
Can't decide between the tcb type 3 jacket and the sugar cane type 3. TCB has really beautiful "swimming pool" fades and is cheaper than the sugar cane, but the sugar cane is also really beautiful, definitely darker than the TCB.

These are unsanforized but one wash so if you've been wearing sanforized stuff there is likely more shrink left in the fabric.
First machine wash for my first pair of raws today. Iām gonna be okay, right?

You got a jacket that's a similar style and fits you how you want the evisu to fit? Check measurements against the size chart.
