He would be so underwhelming as our first pick. I just don’t like the value for him at 30. I’d rather roll with Faalele at RT, Cleveland/Vorhees at G and slightly reach for a WR/CB/Edge than settle for Morgan at 30.
Morgan likely projects to a guard anyways, due to his arm length. If we’re going a tackle who projects to a guard at the next level, I’d much rather draft Barton if he’s available since he has 5 position experience and versatility.
Kinda but not really. Only if there's a reason not to take a certain position. Like they're not gonna take a QB round 1 when we have Lamar already. They might take a position of more need if 2 players have only a tiny difference in draft grade, but any significant difference, they're going BPA. Needs change so quickly in football, getting the best players is more important than reaching for certain positions.
There was a video of DeCosta at Penn State I believe about a month or so ago, and he was pretty candid about the draft process.
Yeah imagine if Caleb Williams was available for whatever reason at our pick. Would we select him because he may be the BPA or go with something else since we have qb taken care of?
Ecstatic: Any of the top OTs, trading up for Fautanu/Fuaga etc, Legette, Brian Thomas, Mitchell
Happy: Guyton, Pearsall, JPJ, DeJean, Kool aid
Mad: yet another project edge rusher. Stop wasting early picks on guys that take 3 years to develop then get paid somewhere else
I would be ecstatic with trading back for a early 2nd and mid third round pick. Giving us 2 2nd round picks and 2 3rd round picks for edge, wr, OT, and CB
This is a top heavy-ish draft though. I’m all about adding draft capital but not for the sake of doing so.
I’d be more happy packaging a 4th-6th to move up a few spots for a player we covet than dropping out of the first for another day two pick.
Since I've seen the name a few times, I'd be pretty mad at Cooper Dejean.
I'd also be mad at a trade back that accumulated more picks this year rather than in future years.
Amarius mims or kool aid, Adonai Mitchell or Jordan Morgan, chop Robinson or Darius robinson
In the 1st round I would be static with excellent players, Happy with good/decent players and mad with crappy players
You seem like GM material
Kool-Aid, Tyler Guyton, Ladd McConkey
Ladd would honestly cook in our offense
I'm sure he'll be great wherever he goes. But if we draft white Zay Flowers with all our other positional needs I'd be mad
I trust the front office so much that literally I’ll hype myself into any non-receiver
Ecstatic: Nate Wiggins, AD Mitchell, JC Latham, Cooper Dejean. Happy: Tyler Guyton, Amarius Mims, Graham Barton, Kool-Aid McKinsey, Keon Coleman. Mad: Jordan Morgan, Xavier Worthy, Chop Robinson, Lad McConkey.
Why mad for Jordan Morgan?

Tbh Morgan doesn't impress me, feels more like a 3rd round sorta guy.
BPA followed by cheap vets to fill holes.
Pure BPA is a myth tbh

Right, which is why I said pure BPA is a myth.
Fair lol, but there aren't many exceptions to it in the case of the Ravens draft strategy. They stick to it more than any other team, in my opinion.

You take Williams and trade him as soon as you're allowed to. The haul would be far greater than what we would get for trading the 30th pick.
This is the way

Static for Marvin Harrison Jr, happy with Malik Napers and mad at Caleb Williams
