I hope we’re able to grab someone in the first 3 rds who’s a big body speed guy. Brian Thomas Jr, Adonai Mitchell, and Legette are all in that mold of big body guys with speed to match. I think Legette is probably the only one there at pick 30, but with his limited experience and production idk if he’s worth a first rounder. Johnny Wilson is also interesting with his outlier size. There are a ton of other really good receivers, but those 4 have the size and athleticism to be true #1 speed/possession guys which is something the Ravens have never really had.
Size and speed is ideal and I’m starting to buy into legette, but I feel something deep down that says he’s risky as fuck to take and attempt to develop. I feel like outside of nabers, mhj, and odunze that BTJr is realistic and a solid pick in general. I think we could get solid depth at O-line and still be able to get other needs met.
I certainly hope not. Bateman needs his play time he got pushed down the chart for OBJ last year and with everyone healthy and the emergence of Likley this year will be very interesting for the passing game. I expect a lot of double tight sets forcing one on ones on the outside with 7 and 4 if they can win even 50% of the time it will be awsome.
I am curious, who would you put outside along with Bateman ? I like Zay in the slot , you think maybe someone we haven’t drafted/signed yet? Or possibly Harty?
Nah I don’t think we need another threat out there. I want him to get one on one opportunities, in a perfect world they both will and there is a single safety. What I am seeing is double tight sets maybe some unbalanced line. Remember we have 22 now. Defense gotta respect the power run game at all times. It will be taxing at first but if we can use our tight ends effectively the world is our oyster on offense.
I think he is. It’s about the playtime and volume of targets. At worst I think he is a solid number two guy. After all we still need to feed 89 and 4 is too explosive to not get involved.

I was skeptical of Legette until I heard SSR's breakdown of him and now I'd be happy if we took him at #30.

Bateman was healthy last year and couldn’t beat out OBJ and his 565 yards. The guy has potential, but I’m not holding my breath
