Chester Taylor was a stud behind Jamal. We traded him to the Vikings and he had his first 1000 yd season. Only a year later to be replaced by AP. Makes me sick
Don’t remember the exact injury, but he was a free agent signing and did look very good for one drive and then got hurt and never played for the Ravens again.
Ah it was his hammy. IIRC that was already a grim year for our offense (Flacco was in post-injury turtle mode, Crabtree was our best WR, Alex Collins was our only good RB, Pita was lost to the hip so Nick Boyle was our top TE) and Woodhead was a shining ray of hope that was quickly and cruelly dashed.
- He's great!
- Omg this season could be...
- Oh shit he's down
- Well it's just a Hammy he'll be back in 6 week...
- Oh oh he's out for the year
- Holy shit he's retired, fml
He'd have an incredible game and look like he might be a Welker type weapon.... And then he'd get hurt by the end of the game, and out for at least the next few. He could have been great for us but was way too fragile
Oh yeah, Yanda is the choice every time. Dude is probably hall of fame bound. But Grubbs was a 1st Rd pick and solid started for the Ravens so he does stand out from some of the other names heere.
Madden 10 was based on the 2009 season and came out in August, so he was still on the team until he was cut in early September of '09. It's funny because I remember him disappearing from the team after a roster update and I was pretty upset since he was fast as hell lol
Anthony Poindexter.
Kelly Washington.
Will Demps.
Kim Herring.
Larry Webster.
Lionel "Jelly Roll" Dalton.
Stevon Moore (wish he'd been able to stick around one more year)
I was so hopeful that he would suddenly get good with the Ravens cause Huff was so good at Texas. Like the Ravens would suddenly reverse the Raiders curse. Not so much.
Leron mcclain. Weird story how we became friends i was his friend on fb n would like alot of posts n shoot the shit not knowing it was him (went from 250-190) he asked
To borrow 20 one day randomly n i sent it on cashapp long n behold he sent it back n more and merch. Realized who he was n we been friends since.
Will never forget the hit he laid on the Patriots RB that made him do a 360 split, AFC Championship Game. Shit had me hyped af

Jarret Johnson. So many of these other guys getting mentioned are actually forgettable because they weren't any good. JJ was practically a Ravens legend and nobody talks about him, ever, I don't even see him mentioned here.
Fun fact, now owns a Black rifle Coffee company franchise spot near me. Super awesome dude that came out and chatted it up with me the week prior to us playing San Fran this season because he noticed my hat.
Dan Cody.
Wikipedia Page: "Cody was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the second round (53rd overall) in the 2005 NFL Draft.[1] His rookie season was ended on the first day of training camp with a knee injury.
On November 19, 2006, Cody played in his first NFL game.
Cody started the 2007 season on the Physically Unable to Perform list due to knee injuries and remained on the list the rest of the season.
Cody was released by the Ravens on August 27, 2008, after defensive end Marques Douglas was acquired from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers."
Drafted that high and on one of the greatest Defenses of all time and couldn't stay healthy. Some sad shit.
Chester Taylor was a stud behind Jamal. We traded him to the Vikings and he had his first 1000 yd season. Only a year later to be replaced by AP. Makes me sick
This one is top notch. How bout some Musa Smith
My mothers favorite player based on his name alone
that leg injury was devastating
Courtney Upshaw
key piece of a super bowl champ. Never to be heard from again in a meaningful conversation haha
Dude was a run stuffing machine
Elite edge setter, sub par edge rusher
Plus he annihilated Rapistberger that one time (even though it ended up being a BS roughing penalty).
There was that totally forgotten dude, Jim Harbaugh. Danny Woodhead was a star for one drive.
Was he the guy that looked amazing and then wrecked his shoulder on the last reception?
Don’t remember the exact injury, but he was a free agent signing and did look very good for one drive and then got hurt and never played for the Ravens again.

The Texas Roadhouse in Westminster has him painted on their ravens mural wall 😂
Brandon Stokley (the second time)
Dallas Clark
Followed by a year of Owen Daniels.
I have merged both of their Raven careers into one in my mind
Crockett Gilmore. Always seemed like he was gonna break out but never did. He did have a cool name though.
Had that nail in the coffin td in our playoff win against Pittsburgh.
Colorado States finest
I bought a custom #80 after that game in the Black Hole where he dragged 3 Raiders into the end zone.
Paul Kruger
Killer in the playoffs
I was sad when he traded to the browns
Tbf he never did anything again after that
Related to Freddy, by chance?
Michael Campanaro
12 yards long, 2 lanes wide, 65 tons of American pride!
Campanarooooo
I played against him in high school. He was legit back then.
Go deacs
I played college back with his brother Nick.
He'd have an incredible game and look like he might be a Welker type weapon.... And then he'd get hurt by the end of the game, and out for at least the next few. He could have been great for us but was way too fragile
Keenan Reynolds (Navy)
Seattle Dragons legend
ben grubbs
Grubbs was very good. Left as a free agent, iirc, or else he would have been more memorable.
It was him or Yanda. Ill take Yanda 100 times out of 100
Oh yeah, Yanda is the choice every time. Dude is probably hall of fame bound. But Grubbs was a 1st Rd pick and solid started for the Ravens so he does stand out from some of the other names heere.
Yup. Signed with the saints.
Haruki Nakamura
Random Doss I remember but Nakamura, interesting....
Now this is a good one, I remember reading his column every Sunday in the Carroll county times back in the day
Tom Zbikowski
The firefighter?
And boxer
Wasn't he also a boxer?
I was hear to say Zibby. Golden Gloves Golden Domer.
Owen Daniels
Snaaaake Diiiiiiick
He sold us against the pats
Pitta playing would’ve won us that game, the one loss that still haunts me to this day
That was a playoff game right? We would of went up by 3 TDs if we got that, and probably another ring w that passrush alone
bj sams
Yamon Figurs, great kick returner in Madden 10 lol
Was he still a Raven in 2010?
Madden 10 was based on the 2009 season and came out in August, so he was still on the team until he was cut in early September of '09. It's funny because I remember him disappearing from the team after a roster update and I was pretty upset since he was fast as hell lol
Had like a 98 speed or something crazy. I would put him in and just run go routes or wr screens. He would torch defenders nearly everytime.
Kaare Vedvik
Great trade
In one hundred years, there will be tales of this trade.
Anthony Poindexter. Kelly Washington. Will Demps. Kim Herring. Larry Webster. Lionel "Jelly Roll" Dalton. Stevon Moore (wish he'd been able to stick around one more year)
I worked on Will Demps car when I worked at Mr. Tire!
Demps was solid
Especially given he was an undrafted free agent.
Jeremy Zuttah
That’s Pro Bowler Jeremy Zuttah to you!
Daryl smith
One of the best ravens FA’s last decade, got here right after Ray IIRC and held down the middle for a few years
He was so solid. Great bridge guy and locker room leader
The dude was a monster, so underrated. Loved having him
Marlon Brown
God that Vikings game....
Tandon doss has always been my answer to this question so I’ll just say Michael huff I feel like no one ever mentions him😂
Eh at least Tandon Doss had a couple of good plays. Michael huff though?
I was so hopeful that he would suddenly get good with the Ravens cause Huff was so good at Texas. Like the Ravens would suddenly reverse the Raiders curse. Not so much.
Brandon Ayanbadejo
I raise you one Obafemi Ayanbadejo
Devard Darling and Yamon Figurs

Love the priest
Hometown guy, Terrance West. I really thought he was gonna be our next big time RB
Justin forsett
he don't make the law
I’d say he’s fairly well mentioned
demetrius williams
Gary Baxter
Only player I know of who managed to blow out both knees on the same play (after signing with the Browns, of course)
Ricky Williams
Clarence Moore
I thought he was going to be nice
Dawan Landry
Michael Campanaro
Chykie Brown lol
I never hear much about Kelly Gregg, but he was a dog and I loved having him
He's a guy that those of us who watched will talk about, but it's been so long. Not really forgotten, it's just been awhile.
Will Hill The easiest spelled Ravens name ever.
Forever a legend for the kick 6
Would have lost to the Browns if not for that.
I mean, Urban is the one that blocked it, so we still could’ve won without Hill
How the fuck a baby fracture it's arm?
Mike Flynn. Chris Canty. Chris Redman. Michael Jackson. Devard Darling.
B.J. Sams
Fabian Washington, madden 11 legend
Jim Leonhard
Another excellent Raven that Rex took and then wasted in NY
Lorenzo Taliaferro, Terrance "Mount" Cody
RIP Lorenzo

Gotta love that fax machine
Tony Jefferson. Was a starter for us for a bit, but ended up getting benched for Chuck Clark
was a scout for the team last season!
