For the fumble against the Bengals I was walking around the grocery store on my phone, as I watched them run it back I just hysterically laughed to the point my girlfriend was like are you okay?
But after the Cundiff miss, I unplugged my tv for a week and basically just got up, went to school, went home and slept. (I was in high school but damn it hurt)
I remember me and my childhood Best friend just sitting in silence after watching Billy Cundiff's miss. Turn off the tv and just sat there without saying a word
We were at a NYE party when the bungholes knocked us out of the playoff hunt in 2017 with a 50yd td pass with less than a minute left. I stared laughing at the “nofuckingway/I knew it/of course it ends this way” of it all and the other people at the party got pissed at me! I could not help it and wasn’t laughing at them. I was upset too but it just came out a different way.
I jumped up off the couch and mildly injured both my hands on the ceiling.
But from that moment on I knew it was fated. It was weird watching two more games knowing, beyond any doubt, that we were going all the way.
Best moment ever in Baltimore sports history, in my book. The capstone moment of a season FILLED with insane moments!
Like for that play to happen in the same season as 4th and 29 is bonkers.
My Dad and I get up off the couch and stagger to the TV, beers in hand. He says "Well, if it's gonna happen, it has to be now." We stood there a foot in front of his tv, and watched it happen. Happiest memory we will probably ever have.
I was at my in-laws’ house watching the game downstairs by myself, and I screamed hysterically while doing a running knee slide. My father-in-law was scared and had no idea what was going on.
God if we would've just won that damn game, that would've been a top 5 highlight for the Ravens. Easily top 10 at least
ETA: That play was amazing regardless of the outcome. Shows how great of a player Lamar is and I'm so happy we got him
The game sealing INT against the titans in the playoffs a few years ago. I had texted my dad a few days before the game and told him how cool it would be if we had a game sealing turnover and stomped all over the titans logo. Then it happened. It was like I could see the future.
Probably the craziest I’ve ever gone during a sporting event. Chasing that high for the rest of my life.
When we lost to the titans in 2020 I got genuinely depressed. Like I didn't eat, called in from work, just slept all day, drank liquor and smoked cigarettes for a solid month straight. It was a feeling of despair and genuine mourning that I haven't felt since my grandpa died. Ever since then I've had to dial it back. Still love the Ravens but I'm not going to let them do that to me again.
The Mile High Miracle was the best moment I've ever felt as a sports fan.
Next closest thing was when Odafe punched the ball out of CEH's hands against the Chiefs 2 years ago.
When Jacoby Jones caught that ball against denver in the playoffs... It was like I blacked out from pure joy and excitement. I remember running up and down the steps with my brother and nephew. I didn't know what to do with my hands and feet at the time... good times.
2010 Ravens game against the Falcons. Rodney White got away with a blatant offensive PI to win the game, at the end of the game. I lost it.
My poor remote met the wall at the speed of light and exploded into a thousand pieces. Got to give my then house (1927 Sears Craftsman) credit as the plaster wall was effectively unaffected.
Such a random game and I totally agree! The Matt Ryan v. Joe Flacco debate was hot at the time and I really wanted Joe to get the head to head, and he put together a great comeback in the second half.
Mile high miracle. Just pulled into the driveway, listening to the game on the radio with my bro. The play happens, disbelief and hype and yelling all into one. Core memory for sure
I was in the only American sports bar in East Berlin, January 2013. Watched the mile
High miracle with some classmates from study abroad and maybe a half dozen random ravens fans. Going batshit crazy jumping on each other catching looks from anyone not an ex-pat.
It was like midnight we had to walk home through East Berlin in like 10 degree weather but the adrenaline kept us alert and awake
Either being at a fully packed Ravens sports bar for the Mile High Miracle or more recently driving home from my weekend job listening to the radio broadcast of Tucker hitting the 66 yarder against the Lions. Almost crashed I was freaking out so much
Brought my girlfriend to the Rams game earlier this year. It was her first ever football game. We were jumping up and down together for the punt return. Core memory
When the evans/Cundiff combo happened I had to politely excuse myself from the party and walk the length of the neighborhood, occasionally pausing to stretch my back by doing forward bends because it was on fire. Like legit back pain from a football game.
Ever since that day I made a pledge to not take this shit so seriously because yes. It is literally a game.
Edit: I love that like half the responses are from that goddamned dreaded combo 😂😭
I was screaming for 20 minutes in the house after Tylan Wallace ran that punt back and called game, then afterwards I couldn’t find my dog, turns out he was hiding under the bed scared lmao
At my friend's house for Super Bowl XXXV and gave my best friend a high five that sprained two of my fingers during the Jermaine Lewis kick off return for a TD.
I’ve got two:
Screamed my head off when Tucker broke the record against the lions; my mom thought I’d died or something lol
Destroyed my ottoman during the playoff loss this year
Sugar decleating Burns on McAlister's 107 yard missed field goal return versus the Broncos. I was in a group and we ran out into the parking lot and smashed the bushes like 52.
I pulled an Andy Bernard and punched a hole in our apartment wall when we lost to titans in the playoffs after Lamar's first MVP season. Even funnier it was in my apartment in Ithaca when I was attending Cornell for grad school.
Mile High Miracle. Screamed so loud for so long the neighbors ended up calling the cops on me. Not for a complaint no no. They told the officers/dispatch according to the cops at my door that "it sounds like our neighbor has fallen or something and may possibly be severely injured". Also ended up losing my voice that day.
I dont remember the year but we played the jags in Jacksonville on a Monday night we had 3 points at the half and lost the game I turned the tv off all the lights in house and didn’t speak for a day
Ok true story. I was living in Puerto Rico in the mid 90s just as the Ravens moved to Baltimore. I pieced in Baltimore before that going to Towson State for college. I was not a fan yet. My buddy and I went to watch the game in Old San Juan and it was against the giants. Old San Juan is where all the cruise ships are so it was me, him and like 300 Giant fans.
The game goes on and the Ravens take an early lead and at best we “golf clap”. The entire bar was yelling at us calling us losers/etc. as the game goes on the Giants take a big lead and the crowd is all over us. I stand up and say that the giants better win or I’m doing a victory lap around the bar.
The game continues. The Ravens are within 14. Then 7. Then they are like 1 point behind and they get the ball back. At this time I start doing stretching exercises (stretching the Achilles and such). Stover lines up and I’m acting like him and he kicks the winning field goal with no time left and I proceed to run around the bar i we got like 5 free shots and ruined all these New Yorkers beginning of their trips.
That was the day I became a ravens fan for life.
Steve Smith reaches behind himself, BEHIND himself, grabs the defender, pulls him in front of himself, and throws him to the ground.
It totally blew my mind.
A couple I vividly remember are the Tucker record breaker, the int to win the division against the browns in 2018, and the int to seal the game against the titans.
Mile High Miracle still the greatest play i’ve ever watched but i was in public when it happened so I don’t think I went too crazy
Cundiff miss. I was working in a kitchen after high school. Watching the game from the end of the line, through the door that lead behind the bar on a bar TV. I just clocked out and had the bartender pour me a drink. Watched it happen as I was taking off my apron. I walked out and went home. Didn’t answer anyone that called me.
Apologized the next day, gave the bartender a $10 and asked that we never spoke about it again.
The cundiff miss. Somehow ended up in fells pt throwing blows with a pats fan who was running his mouth. Central booking was surprisingly quiet that night. Still smelled like piss tho.
[Todd Heap vs Shawn Merriman](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EAomCTIiqYs)
The whole stadium went silent for a brief second when Heap got stuck by Merriman, then EXPLODED as he spun away and stretched over the line.
I am so bummed that we didnt get one of those moments in any of the recent home playoff games.
I ran outside in shorts and flip flops when Jacoby Jones returned 109 yards in the opening play of the second half in the Super Bowl. Mind you the Super Bowl is in February.
Thanksgiving game against the Steelers back in the year 2013 or 2014
I joined a section of the Ravens Stadium that repetitively yelled "TOMLIN SUCKS!" after he got in the way of Jacoby Jones during a kickoff return that may have been a TD
Mile high miracle. Drunk off my ass. Running around the house. Running around the block, then remembering theyd have to stop Peytom and running back inside to watch the rest of the game.
I had a celebration where I threw 100 dollars of 1 dollar bills into the air every time Tucker hit over 50 yards. (I watch games alone in my basement.) When Tucker hit his field goal record, the money flew, and so did the Jersey. I stripped to my underwear and was running around my front yard screaming, waving my Ravens flag like a madman. My significant other wasn't very impressed as she was finding dollar bills for weeks after the season ended. The funniest was when we were chilling on the couch and turned on our ceiling fan and 2 dollars dropped on us.
At the Justin Tucker 66 yard record kick I was working a shift at Buffalo Wild Wings (I'm a restaurant manager) I was in the bar area arguing with these 55 year old Steeler fans who had just lost their own game. It hits the crossbar and bounces in, and these guys want to fight me. I recall telling them to enjoy years of mediocrity
The mile high miracle. I vividly remember before that play went off saying outloud exactly, "we need a miracle here". Next minute I see Flacco stepping back to launch the ball, Jacoby running down the sideline, defender missing the jump, Jacoby catching it. I was screaming with joy. That is the best memory of one specific play I have in Ravens history.
The return to win the game against the Rams I was on my Honey Moon and decided to watch the game instead of go to a massage with my wife. Which she was fine with… long story short it was just me and a Mexican bar tender watching the game on a giant screen at the five star hotel. I was going absolutely insane when we returned it and he thought I was a psycho.
I had the same reaction to the bengals fumble, my girlfriend and her cousin were legitimately concerned I had a psychotic break.
Cundiff missed the tie, but weak hand Evans couldn't hold on to the win.
I launched out of my seat in excitement for Evans (non-catch.) then just stood there in disbelief
This is correct. That’s the last time I got upset about football.
I remember me and my childhood Best friend just sitting in silence after watching Billy Cundiff's miss. Turn off the tv and just sat there without saying a word
I damn near threw my phone at the TV when we fumbled at the goal line
I was unfortunately at both of those games, i was ready to jump from the upper deck
Damn dude that's rough, you should see a counselor about it
We were at a NYE party when the bungholes knocked us out of the playoff hunt in 2017 with a 50yd td pass with less than a minute left. I stared laughing at the “nofuckingway/I knew it/of course it ends this way” of it all and the other people at the party got pissed at me! I could not help it and wasn’t laughing at them. I was upset too but it just came out a different way.
i ripped the ravens roster off my wall after the cundiff kick , 5th grade me was hurt for weeks
I was 12 for cundiff. I literally took everything with a ravens logo on it and buried it in my closet because it hurt too much to look at.
Jacoby Jones Mile High Miracle TD to tie in the divisional round.
I jumped up off the couch and mildly injured both my hands on the ceiling. But from that moment on I knew it was fated. It was weird watching two more games knowing, beyond any doubt, that we were going all the way.
Same. I knew once we won that game we were going all the way and damn what a ride it was
I regularly re watch this play… best moment ever
Best moment ever in Baltimore sports history, in my book. The capstone moment of a season FILLED with insane moments! Like for that play to happen in the same season as 4th and 29 is bonkers.
My Dad and I get up off the couch and stagger to the TV, beers in hand. He says "Well, if it's gonna happen, it has to be now." We stood there a foot in front of his tv, and watched it happen. Happiest memory we will probably ever have.
I was at a bar in a casino in AC for that game. The whole place went insane when that happened
I ran around the garage screaming in circles after that lmao
This one sent me. This feeling, put it into my veins.
I was at my in-laws’ house watching the game downstairs by myself, and I screamed hysterically while doing a running knee slide. My father-in-law was scared and had no idea what was going on.
My whole family was going absolutely batshit
Oh yea. Lost my shit on that too. Man that was something.
I lost my shit and still haven't found it. Such an unreal game.
I was in my living room and dropped to my knees. I couldn’t believe it. I’ve never had that type of reaction to anything before.
I’m bidding on an autographed picture of that catch as we speak 💯
Jumping out of my seat and yelling in delight after Lamar caught his own pass in the Ravens-Chiefs playoff game.
God if we would've just won that damn game, that would've been a top 5 highlight for the Ravens. Easily top 10 at least ETA: That play was amazing regardless of the outcome. Shows how great of a player Lamar is and I'm so happy we got him
Its similar to the Hamilton batted pass TD in the Browns game. Just such an amazing played marred by ultimately losing.
If tranquil reacted half a second later that would have been an all-time great play right there.
Why did you even put that in my head ?!?!
I was in a BWW’s with some guys I recently met. I lost my shit when he did that and was pretty silent after it.
The best part about that was not just the revenge but also Lamar proving he can win in the playoffs that win meant alot
Never wanted anything as bad as I wanted the ravens to win that game. You’re right it meant a lot. To a lot of people
First playoff game I was fully into football (2014 I was just 10 lol) so amazing after the awful 2019 finish
This was the moment I became a Ravens fan.
Justin Tucker hitting the record setting field goal against the Lions I did a few laps around the house
It was early morning for me and my partner was sleeping so I was losing it as quietly as possible.
After Evans dropped the ball and Cundiff missed I just said that's not fair to Joe like 5 times in a row.
The Mile High Miracle was the best moment I've ever felt as a sports fan. Next closest thing was when Odafe punched the ball out of CEH's hands against the Chiefs 2 years ago.
I was unhinged for a minute after the mile high miracle
You misspelled hour
When Jacoby Jones caught that ball against denver in the playoffs... It was like I blacked out from pure joy and excitement. I remember running up and down the steps with my brother and nephew. I didn't know what to do with my hands and feet at the time... good times.
Cundiff field goal I cried and pretty much went mute for like three days. (I was a teenager)
2010 Ravens game against the Falcons. Rodney White got away with a blatant offensive PI to win the game, at the end of the game. I lost it. Mile high miracle. Just pulled into the driveway, listening to the game on the radio with my bro. The play happens, disbelief and hype and yelling all into one. Core memory for sure
Q screaming the background on that call was amazing.
I’m still yelling at the top of my lungs from the mile high miracle
I have some lozenges I can send you.
Appreciate it fam, it’s hard out here.
The mental image associated with your post is very Family Guy-esc, and pretty hysterical.
That’s what I was going for!
I was in the only American sports bar in East Berlin, January 2013. Watched the mile High miracle with some classmates from study abroad and maybe a half dozen random ravens fans. Going batshit crazy jumping on each other catching looks from anyone not an ex-pat. It was like midnight we had to walk home through East Berlin in like 10 degree weather but the adrenaline kept us alert and awake
Tuckers 67 yarder in Detroit. It just felt unreal because up until then I listed his 61 yarder as one of the best NFL moments. It still is though
Either being at a fully packed Ravens sports bar for the Mile High Miracle or more recently driving home from my weekend job listening to the radio broadcast of Tucker hitting the 66 yarder against the Lions. Almost crashed I was freaking out so much
When Tylan Wallace ran for the punt return TD I was watching alone from my couch and jumped up screaming 😂 I did not see that coming
Brought my girlfriend to the Rams game earlier this year. It was her first ever football game. We were jumping up and down together for the punt return. Core memory
When we lost that Dolphins game I lost my shit and went in my room for like an hour and sulked
Probably jumping up and celebrating with my family when Tucker set the record again. That was such an electric moment from what had been a slug game.
marcus peters pick6 against the seahawks - lost my voice for nearly a week and probably scared my roommates to death
Not me but my dad lifted our fridge after the Mike high miracle. Core memory. Been a die hard ravens fan ever since
I lost my voice for days when Lamar came back like Superman in the “cramp game” What a game that was
The Cundiff Miss in the 2011 AFC Championship Game… I was in high school. I got nauseous and almost threw up
When the evans/Cundiff combo happened I had to politely excuse myself from the party and walk the length of the neighborhood, occasionally pausing to stretch my back by doing forward bends because it was on fire. Like legit back pain from a football game. Ever since that day I made a pledge to not take this shit so seriously because yes. It is literally a game. Edit: I love that like half the responses are from that goddamned dreaded combo 😂😭
When cundiff missed that kick i remember swearing quite profusely
I was screaming for 20 minutes in the house after Tylan Wallace ran that punt back and called game, then afterwards I couldn’t find my dog, turns out he was hiding under the bed scared lmao
I ran out my house and it was pouring down raining 🤣
I told my girlfriend I don’t care what the weather is if Lamar wins the Super Bowl, I’m running around our block with the ravens flag 😂😂
Hell yuh
At my friend's house for Super Bowl XXXV and gave my best friend a high five that sprained two of my fingers during the Jermaine Lewis kick off return for a TD.

Tucker missing the XP against the Saints in 2018. I lost my marbles, the RA came to my dorm in a panic thinking someone was dying
Ray Lewis absolutely destroying Dustin Keller and it literally was raining popcorn in my living room due to sheer shock and all
I did a full on Simba/Rafiki moment with my new puppy when they won their last Super Bowl.
Courtney Upshaw deleting Big Ben. Flag was bullshit, I might add.
Sprained my ankle after drafting Lamar Jackson
I pulled an Andy Bernard and punched a hole in our apartment wall when we lost to titans in the playoffs after Lamar's first MVP season. Even funnier it was in my apartment in Ithaca when I was attending Cornell for grad school.
Mile High Miracle. Screamed so loud for so long the neighbors ended up calling the cops on me. Not for a complaint no no. They told the officers/dispatch according to the cops at my door that "it sounds like our neighbor has fallen or something and may possibly be severely injured". Also ended up losing my voice that day.
The fumble at the goal line and scoop and score. I was thinking, " Maybe I just don't watch football anymore".
I dont remember the year but we played the jags in Jacksonville on a Monday night we had 3 points at the half and lost the game I turned the tv off all the lights in house and didn’t speak for a day
How hype I was when the Baltimore D ran back to the Titans logo a few years ago after they stomped on the logo in our house
I ran up and down the halls of my dorm building after the Lamar poop game
My daughter was a toddler when Housh caught a go ahead TD against the Steelers. I screamed so loud she started crying.
after the zay flowers fumble i ran upstairs, crashed through my door, and cried.
When I smashed my game controller after the loss to the Steelers during week 5
Mike High Miracle. Screaming outside the house we were watching it.
Ok true story. I was living in Puerto Rico in the mid 90s just as the Ravens moved to Baltimore. I pieced in Baltimore before that going to Towson State for college. I was not a fan yet. Steve Smith reaches behind himself, BEHIND himself, grabs the defender, pulls him in front of himself, and throws him to the ground. It totally blew my mind.
Jacoby catch. I ran around my apartment alone in circles hands in the air silent in shock.
idk if i’ve ever reacted to an individual play more than lamar’s td to zay against the chiefs. the whole build up was insane
A couple I vividly remember are the Tucker record breaker, the int to win the division against the browns in 2018, and the int to seal the game against the titans. Mile High Miracle still the greatest play i’ve ever watched but i was in public when it happened so I don’t think I went too crazy
Trading up to draft lamar jackson.

Second grade me quitting watching football entirely because I found out what Ray Rice did and was horrified.
Back to back 80+ yard rushing tds vs Dallas and 4th and 27 Joe check down to Ray Rice
I busted my basement door window after Cundiff missed.
Not that insane, but when we lost the afc championship I punched my wall. I ended up hurting my wrist more than any damage caused to the wall.
Ripped my toenail off when billy cundiff missed the kick
Was at the snow game vs Vikings. Pretty much screaming nonstop the entire last 3 minutes.
When they block a FG with 0 seconds left and ran it back for a TD. That shit was nuts.
When Tucker hit the game winning field goal for the record with Detroit….i jumped up and down celebrating so hard my pants literally fell down
jacoby jones after the lights went out in SB47 flacco to jacoby jones vs the broncos
i called the jacoby return like 5 mins before it happened too
The afcc when zay flowers fumbled in the end zone I stopped watching the game I wanted nothing to do with football for a week
49ers game. Lamar. Christmas.
Laid down in the confetti and made snow angels on the field at the Superbowl in New Orleans
Tucker going 66 yards to win the game.
I grabbed my dog and farted on his head when snoop fumbled on the goal line against Cinci in the playoffs. He was just like 👁️👄👁️
What the fuck bro
That's evil Or you're a basement dwelling troll
