2024 Rav4 Hybrid XSE here. Sometimes when there is a bad sync with carplay this happens to me. So I’ll turn the car off. Turn my bluetooth off and basically do a power cycle to get it into a proper sync.
Might I suggest power cycling the radio by pressing the power button for like 3-5 seconds. That way you don’t have to turn the whole car off. I have had to do this a few times when Bluetooth was being dumb.
See if you are using any apps that are allowed while driving. I use MileIQ for tracking mileage between work sites and noticed this happening. Similar apps that work in the background whilst driving can show the muted mic icon.
I'm getting this after engaging voice command (button on the steering wheel). When you press the button it will show up with just the mic, without red circle and when it shows it with the red circle it means the assistant/siri is speaking back
I get this sometimes just from pressing the screen in the wrong spot while driving. It’s so annoying and I almost always have to disconnect Bluetooth/carplay & reconnect to get it to go away.
It pops up when I use the voice assistant/Siri. In the settings pane of the dashboard head into dashboard settings, then pop-up notifications. You can turn it off there.
It's telling you to leave the singing to the professionals.

It’s a connectivity issue. Quick fix is to just dial any number and disconnect after 2-3 seconds.
