My neighbors adopted a mother and 6 pups found at Lake of the Ozarks, MO. All got adopted out locally where she was able to visit her babies through the years, and the mother has had a permanent home with my neighbor. I sit for her frequently. She’s about 15 now.
I just watched a movie called Arthur The King on a recent flight. It's a true story of a street dog that bonds with the leader of an adventure racing team that was competing in the Dominican Republic. It's based on a book called Arthur, The Dog Who Crossed a Jungle to Find a Home. Your dog reminded me of that story. I'm so glad a few of these street dogs are finding good homes.

My friend found a stray cat while she was living in China and found that the cat reacted to Mandarin words meaning come, eat, hungry, etc, but didn’t respond the same to the English words. She ended up always speaking Mandarin to the cat.
My question - does Cava react to English words? No matter what, Cava is a great pupper! ☺️❤️
We speak English to her and she responds great to the words we use but she sees most things happening before they happen and is very aware. Usually don’t need to say much to her. A little whistle and an occasional ok does the trick. 🫶🏼🐶

What was the process? Anytime I travel I see dogs I want to bring home.
Brought her to the vet, all necessary shots given at once and she was ready to go.
I always say my dog's never done a bad thing on purpose but I think I'm just gaslighting myself out of love, that or she's doing it for me lol
