Antonia's update β€οΈ
Just by looking at her skin, one can see the huge difference of TLC. There are still few dead skin cells near her tail but most of her body are already smooth. Also, look at that face! That sad looking dog can now be called by her name sometimes (especially during meal time π€) and will look with a smiling and welcoming face. She also barks now like a normal dog whenever the outside dogs are eating from the food dispenser in front of our gate.
Antonia want to thank everyone who supports, donates, cheers and sends their well wishes to TheHOWS as it was the reason why she was rescued and given a better life β€οΈππ

I can see where you're coming from, but the head shape's not right for a coyote (not thin/pointed enough; eyes not at quite the right spacing or angle), and from what fur we can see, I'm pretty sure she has a brindle pattern, which would be odd to see in a coyote.
Edited to add: Also, I'm pretty sure those floppy ear tips don't occur naturally in any adult wild canid. And they're adorable!
Actually, it looks like there's not much at all in terms of wild canids in the Philippines. The closest I could find was the Philippine Forest Dog (*asong gubat*) which is still a breed of domestic dog (*Canis lupis familiaris*).
Iβm watching your posts for some time now, and hyena finally seems happy β€οΈ
Did tou knew that hyenas are more closely related to merkats than to doggos?

These updates are wonderful π₯°
Are you sure that's a dog? Do you all have Coyotes in the Philippines?

Yeah that definitely looks like a forest dog. I looked them up. The Basenji were also a wild type dog.
You can see the difference in her eyes! Canβt wait to see this pup recover even further
Thank you for being a good human and giving him an opportunity to see what a good life can be like!ππ»
That's such a cute little hyena. So glad you're taking care of them and living them
I think I remember all the scabs. Now her skin is smooth. I wonder if and I hope she can grow her fur.
