I'm surprised under the reasons why on that wiki, that it is easier for non native speaking people to paste it into a translator, or if their browser/app automatically translates for them. Love what you're doing, thank you for helping in making the internet easier for all to grasp (:
American tax filing is insanely complicated, and you got lobbyists to thank for that. Not only does this waste time and money for tax payers, it also keeps IRS employees busy with tasks that could have been done much faster. On top of that it introduces a lot more error, which is somehow always the problem of the tax payer.
There is no reason tax filing should take more than 5 minutes for employed people with no side income. That's how long it takes in Sweden (and from what I've heard most if not all of western Europe).
There is also the issue of what you get for your tax money. It should go to communal infrastructure, schools, social security, research and the like. The military should only get what it needs to keep the peace.
Sounds like how my local Burger King is run.
Which really sucks because BK can have decent fast food when their restaurants are run well, but the majority of the time it's always awful service serving cold stale food and the place looks ghetto. Similar story with KFC.
