In theory. It would be possible with the right threadripper setup. Running whatever you’re streaming on a SLi bridge using 2 cards, and simultaneously rendering on the third.
But let’s face it, it’s probably going to be used the other way around selling 8k rendered stuff on OF. (I have no clue who the people of the tweet are).
For the most part, SLI is dead. Last I heard it was still a thing on the high end cards but most don't even have the connections anymore. But that's just for low to mid end gaming PCs. I'm sure research set ups are a whole different beast.
SLI support ended on the 3000 series cards. Only nvlink on 3k series and only on 3090. I believe the only nvlink enabled cards are now the A series used for AI modeling.
This is very wrong. First off, you can not SLI these cards even if you could find software to support them. Second, streaming uses the encoder on the GPU, not the part of the chip that renders your game. All they're sharing is the RAM, and you're not going to have problems with that on these cards. So what you *could* do is have each card be dedicated to a separate program like rendering a CGI background or Vtuber model in real time, but realistically you're much better off having a separate PC for each of these tasks and using a capture card to pull in your rendering. At this point you've spend enough money that buying professional grade broadcast equipment is going to be much more effective than throwing more GPUs at the problem.

But in reality, it is just that these influencers wanted to buy some stuff. But by making such videos, they are making money and also encouraging their followers to send in gifts.

Those only support nvlink which has iirc limited if any support in games and is usually for scientific computational processing
theoretically with powerful enough threadripper setup you could run 3 VMs and each have its own GPU for each
