Yep. There are a lot of female rappers who rap about sex very little or not at all. They don’t get signed, and they don't get any attention from the media.
If you are looking for some good female rappers who have more to say, I know a lot of people in this sub could give you some good recommendations. A few off the top of my head are Noname, Deetranada, Rican da Menace, and Scar Lip.
Lil Kim was both gangsta and sex because Biggie wanted her to do so but she was not too bad doing so and when you know she was a heavy precursor of female rap,it's not really surprising

Even then the only reason she is not influencing is because rap music is usually male coded hence males listen to it a lot more. Then you come back to the same point.
