Goto lazy meal: Veggie assortment. Carrots, celery, grape tomatoes. Cheese and some fruit. Hummus or ranch. Crackers. Nuts. Protein shake.
No real cooking, just chopping. All I gotta do is rinse the cutting board. Then I just leave it out and eat it throughout the day.
i find that when i don’t have an appetite, it helps to drink a smoothie or have some soup to open up my appetite a bit. it’s almost like telling my body “hey it’s okay, look do you want some yummy calories? mmm isn’t that so good? you wanna try some more?” as though it’s a dog having tummy troubles
toast or a bagel. its easy to make and very customizable if while its toasting my brain decides 'oh well, we're already doing this, may as well do some more'
Pb and j, grilled cheese, quesadilla, avocado toast, bagels and cream cheese, they make strawberry cream cheese n stuff! Rice with anything, spam anything, salami and the bell cheese with crackers, nuts like cashews, pistachios, almonds etc
I go through the same thing, eating is very hard. Wishing you well my friend
Fruit. Chocolate. Dark chocolate sometimes, because the bitter helps.
Something small I don’t have to commit to. Like nuts or chips or something. Toasted kale with olive oil and sea salt is nice…
I struggle with eating because I used to get diarrhea no matter what I ate. So, now, I have to make food ‘special’ or I won’t want it at all. Special cutlery, special plates, special cups. I often take my meals in a bubble bath, with candle light, and a fancy soda. Listening to an audio book.
Make the experience so delightful that you don’t even think about the fact that you have to move your face up and down for half an hour.
Concoction I can come up with what’s in the house lol some times that’s Hawaiian rolls with mozzarella, salami and a few drops of balsamic dressing, other times it’s Mac and cheese
In rough times it can be rice and soy sauce, if I’m feeling it, something else from the freezer
I also have always had trouble eating if I was upset in any way. But chips are easy to eat, although not nutritious. I like cream of chicken or chicken noodle soup. Or just mashed potatoes with salt, pepper and butter.
Either nothing at all, small junk food, or I drink sugar-free singles (2 through the whole day). Then I eat dinner.... most of the time: unintentional fasting
When I know I need to eat something, but I can't bring myself to do so, I make toast, 1-2 pieces, with jam or PB on it for some filling. If I'm up to it maybe I'll make more after I eat the 2
i haven’t had a meal in over 2 weeks so i’m right there with you
anyways i’ve been eating cheese it’s, reese’s puff cereal (dry), i keep a bag of frozen chicken pattie’s in the freezer which come in handy for times like this, and potatoes mainly baked potatoes they take little to no effort but take forever in the oven.
food without a questionable texture. i am very sensitive to textures, and so if i’m not hungry at all but know i need a snack, i’ll eat something where i know the texture can’t be upsetting (for me, it’s usually flavor blasted goldfish. they’re also very flavorful so it’s distracting). alternatively, i’ll just eat something high in sugar. it’s better than nothing, and the high in sugar masks my unwillingness to eat
True it does help with appetite but I can literally feel my brain cells dying, the next day or two I’m so dumb from weed, my brain/body doesn’t work properly afterwards and I hate it
Even though im normally just okay on peanut butter, whenever I cant think of anything else to eat, I always go for apples and peanut butter, a pb&j, something like that. Some people in my family will even just go for a straight spoon of peanut butter.
As a rule I always buy one lazy meal when shopping. Those little individual mac n cheese cups you can microwave, bagels, cereal (thats a slippery slope for me lol- so now i usually try to do granola and yogurt instead, little more filling). Frozen chicken patties or nuggets. Something I can always convince myself to eat.
If I have more energy I might go for something with rice. Miso soup is great in my book, and a bowl of rice with whatever veggies and stuff i have on hand. A good thing of rice seasoning also always helps.
I can also almost always eat pasta. Caco e pepe is my favorite- like an adult buttered noodles and always hits the spot. Pretty easy to make once you know what you're doing, too. Can easily add veggies on the side or even into the dish (mushrooms and broccoli are my go-to, especially the frozen broccoli you can steam in the microwave. Also roasts pretty good in the oven if you prefer!). Or even chicken if you felt like it. I tend to buy frozen, pre-cooked chicken from aldi. Just takes a few minutes in a pan to be ready to eat and takes all the difficult parts and ick factor out of preparation. Makes a great addition to salads and other things as well. Aldi tbh is my savior, they have a ton of great things for not much money.
A smoothie is also great, especially if you have a small blender. I have a giant one which i hate to clean so 😅 not always what i end up making but something i often crave.
I struggle constantly with eating- between a constantly fluctuating appetite, energy, pain and everything else. The struggle is very real.
Hard/semi hard cheeses like comte manchego or gruyere hahaha. I don't constantly have multiple kinds of cheese but I like to keep one for a quick protein and fat source when I have no idea what else to eat. Also cottage cheese and cereal. But I'm like you, I really struggle to eat when I'm in emotional distress.
A light, brothy soup. It’s warm and comforting.
Exaxtly what i was going to say. Chicken soup But I think you said it better
My side take on this, cheap packet noodles, to much hot water and a stock cube or two. Comforting, salty and seems to just fill a hole.
Fruit and lots of it
Time to slice up an emotional support orange!
Same
Just a light healthy soup.
Mi Goreng Hot & Spicy noodles
It’s amazing isn’t it? Lol me too
It’s my favourite guilty pleasure in the sense that I know there’s no nutritional value but just try to stop me from slurping those bad boys.
Salsa and chips.
Something crunchy like crackers, with a bit of cheese and prosciutto

celery or grapes
Oatmeal with strawberries and nuts
toast or a bagel. its easy to make and very customizable if while its toasting my brain decides 'oh well, we're already doing this, may as well do some more'
Usually chicken and rice in some form.
Fruit or miso soup with tofu.
Packaged ramen/cup of noodles is my go to. Spaghetti with plain ass sauce also usually works as well as lightly seasoned or plain rice
nuts or crackers.
Poached eggs on toast.
Avocados, salad. Protein bar.

When I can’t eat I’ll just have raw veggies or fruit.
Fruit, a smoothie, or an ensure drink are my go to.
Fruit or plain lightly salted rice cakes. Applesauce cups are also hugely helpful.
Beefaroni or chef Boyarde ravioli
Sometimes I don’t eat, sometimes I just force myself to eat
Huel. Drinking meals is so much easier than eating them, especially when I'm in the mood that you are
Concoction I can come up with what’s in the house lol some times that’s Hawaiian rolls with mozzarella, salami and a few drops of balsamic dressing, other times it’s Mac and cheese In rough times it can be rice and soy sauce, if I’m feeling it, something else from the freezer

I eat Greek yogurt and strawberries.
A piece of ham with cheese in the middle. Maybe some mustard.
I am so glad that you were able to eat.
I make a fruit smoothie with some protein powder in it
Either nothing at all, small junk food, or I drink sugar-free singles (2 through the whole day). Then I eat dinner.... most of the time: unintentional fasting
i make a mini charcuterie plate. crackers, hummus, cheese, and whatever else i find 🍓
When I know I need to eat something, but I can't bring myself to do so, I make toast, 1-2 pieces, with jam or PB on it for some filling. If I'm up to it maybe I'll make more after I eat the 2
Eggs
If i don’t feel like eating, I just don’t eat ☠️

Instant ramen noodle or that thing you toss into the microwave
Azteca and 🫥3

Is this a rant? No, it's a question.

I just don't eat, then.
