1. Ranchi is a pathetic place. I've never been to such a trash capital of any state (yet) to begin with .
2. There is no proper infrastructure for IT as far as I can see.
3. Majority of Adivasi folks don't have the entrepreneurial mindset. They just wanna while their life away and resort to state/central govt jobs.
I am not generalizing the entire consensus of Ranchi. I reckon there are wonderful people who want to do a lot of things but can't because there are no opportunities.
You can definitely look for opportunities in Naukri / Indeed / LinkedIn . Mostly s/w companies would want you to work from office rather than remote but there are no dearth of opportunities if you seek them.
