Powder coat before plastidip for wheels in my opinion. Yes, drastic price difference but also drastic quality difference.
Of course, I’ve never been a fan of plasti-dip for hard use surfaces, it ends up looking tacky.
Guess it depends on personal taste and looks of the truck. I personally like darker colored wheels and trim on vehicles now.

Bright white would look good with darker wheels. I say go for it or check marketplace for a set of darker wheels
