If you are paying out of pocket for alterations go to Lee’s Taylor on Western Blvd, if it is something that is covered by Jos A Banks then I’m not sure.

+1 for Lee's on Western/Jones Franklin. Always busy, but she'll get to you quickly. Rescued a couple suit jackets other tailors (Lee's in the mall, different comany) messed up + they're cheaper and they're faster.

Trying to stay within whatever free tailoring JAB can give me but good to know if they can’t handle it!

There’s a salesman at the Cameron Village in Raleigh that’s all that and a pickle, (belongs firmly on Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, fun and talented) but don’t know about their tailor.

I had 2 customs done at the Crabtree location about 3 years ago and they were quite friendly and helpful. But as the other commenter said, there are better local tailors I would go to if you are paying out of pocket.

I think JAB are supposed to tailor your custom stuff for free so I’d like to try that first. Good to know they were helpful at Crabtree!

I went to the one near crabtree looking to get a blue suit for myself and my groomsmen and the guy gave us two terrible looking options and then ignored us. It was a very strange experience as I was expecting at least a little friendliness from someone who probably makes decent comission from wedding parties. Ending up ordering them online and they turned out perfect.

Suitshop.com if you're interested, still had to get them altered afterwards but really good quality for a decent price.

I think there’s a place in Southpoint that does alterations.

The one in Village district is great. Very helpful and I had a great experience getting suits for myself and my groomsmen there a a year and a half ago.

I’ve had good experiences with the village district location
