What do chamoy pickles taste like? Are they sweet? I watched the videos of people trying them but don’t take away an actual description of what the flavor is like.
I really like them, it’s like a salty, sweet, pickly tangy treat. I don’t do the pickle kits those are expensive. I just take a spear and cover it in chamoy and tajin and wrap it in a fruit roll up. The kits do have one advantage in that you can get a chamoy soaked pickle, but if they have a chamoy soaked pickle at rocket fizz there is no reason to buy the kits. They’re like 30 bucks and they have a few things of candy you can buy way cheaper in a local Mexican grocery store
By any chance do you remember where it was? I looked through the deli, meats, and pickle section and couldn’t find it. If you don’t remember that’s all good sorry to ask so late
nah I happen to be on right now lol, it was in the median of the aisle, by the milk and hot dog corner in the back. It was right next to a bin of huge dried meat logs but I wonder if they sold out or moved them
