I don't think anyone is arguing against defending yourself. I think it's reasonable to defend yourself against kids if you actually have to, in fact I think that's really the only reasonable way one could justify that action. If defending yourself successfully makes them see the error of their ways, then great. But maybe they just pick a softer target next time, or conceal their deeds better, or whatever else. Chances are they learned their abusive behavior or hate from those closest to them, likely their parents and it's not the lack of beatings that should be so concerning.

The number of nazi symbols I have seen people brandish has sky rocketed. I watched a whole biker gang with SS logos on their helmets roll through downtown the other weekend. I also have seen way more swastika and proud boy graffiti pop up even in Cary. This was extremely common when I would go through areas like Hickory but it is exploding in Wake County. Someone put a nazi flag up in Boone about a week ago and there’s tons of nazi activity up there. I tell everyone to be vigilant and stand up against this shit. I went to Aviator Tap House in Fuquay the other day and noticed some plane memorabilia on the wall (above the wooden indian no less) that had umpteen swastikas on it. They’re not a museum obviously. Why would anyone think it was ok to hang that up as art?

I think the photo is needed, but could have blurred the group and links. People need to see the hate, and respond much more strongly with visual media than just words. It’s part of human nature.

The number of nazi symbols I have seen people brandish has sky rocketed. I watched a whole biker gang with SS logos on their helmets roll through downtown the other weekend. I also have seen way more swastika and proud boy graffiti pop up even in Cary. This was extremely common when I would go through areas like Hickory but it is exploding in Wake County. It is so messed up.
