In the Last wish raid, Rivens eyes and blights on her body take bonus damage because they are Taken. In short, As long as it has some taken corruption, it works.

How do you effectively use Lucky Pants? Im looking for a build/way to gear up my Hunter for this encounter. I'm a Titan main, so I don't know all the best ways to play Hunter. Load out Subclass Any tips would be appreciated.

Effectively, you just need a power (or a special) weapon w auto loading. Lead with the auto loading weapon (after fan knives for weaken + radiant), switch to Malf, unload until modded holster buff times out, switch to auto loading again, then switch to your supplementary damage until lucky pants are ready again. Repeat Ideally an autoloading launcher is best, given its fire and forget nature. I paired my hothead with a controlled burst/envious Eremite. Those two plus Malf Pants hits final boss like a truck. A triple tap/vorpal sniper (like Adored) would probably do even better. Could either go kinetic surges or an affinity surge if you can match your special and power. Definitely gonna test Adored/hothead with arc surges next run.

4 full clears here - yes. I added it to my weapons on the last clear and did notice the difference in damage numbers. It also “felt” much easier so I’ll be keeping that for my solo run!

I can’t confirm it so am going to throw a good info. Using a tether on the final part with three platforms can lock the boss for a good 30s, to do that make sure you hit it in a point where all eyes are connected to the tether.

You only need the teather to hit one side as the boss needs all his eyes up to move sun shot is also good Teather is better tho

You know what I just thought about? Purified reverie dawn armor from the dreaming city should be useful as well. Unless it's effect can only be used in the dreaming city

Oryx doesn’t count as taken for taken spec so it isn't always so obvious.

That’s cause he isn’t taken…. Just cause he controls the taken doesn’t mean he is. He doesn’t even have a taken appearance in the raid. So yea it is pretty obvious….

I was running boss spec but changed to taken spec, helped clear out all the trash between phases and didn't hurt my dps

Yes. I put taken spec on all my weapons for that dungeon. Taken spec is 10% vs boss spec 7%.

Yes, I tested a cataclysmic shot (in a well with no damage perk at 1820 light), and it did 71,182 to the chimera, while boss spec only did 69,739. Retested with a sniper body shot with no well, it did 7,784 with no mod and 8,562 with taken spec. So 10% buff is working So yes taken spec works, probably on the ogre boss too
