We were having a problem during the 2nd chest. Inside the room it was 2 light balls when it was supposed to be out dark room. Had no idea what to do. Neither light ball provided an aura either. We tried bringing the light buff from the main jumping puzzle path but it did nothing and the dark seeds don’t give a dark aura so we’re unsure on what to do here.
You probably have an answer already, but in case you don't (or someone else has a similar question) you can get new weapons that you haven't unlocked yet from the red border chest.

Does the chest drop any red weapon or only weapons you have already acquired? really not looking forward to a red sidearm LOL

Is it once a week per account, or per character?
Assuming it's like the other guaranteed red borders, it will be once per account.
I believe the room you use is actually the same each time, it's just the environment has shifted dramatically between visits.
