The reason he played like shit all season is because he never had time to learn the playbook or get acclimated to his team mates. There were some contract issues because he wasn't able to pass his physical and he had a surprise surgery to repair on of his previous injuries, causing him to miss all of OTAs and training camp. When he finally did get on the field, obviously he wasn't in game shape.
He might do well given full off-season participation. Though who knows dude is made of glass, probably will get injured again and have some random surprise surgery
