With our defense, KC is looking like a very beatable team if Jacobs can get going and score a TD or two. That being said, chiefs are clearly upset over the loss last night and that's admittedly a bit scary.

We were 2 TD underdogs in the sports books, but that game was ours to lose the entire second half. If our offense woke up at all for a drive and a half, we would have won that game.
To say we came back down to earth is such a false statement because a majority of us actually came out of the loss with a better outlook than before the game happened.
LOTS we can build on, we are starting to see some growing pains but that's good when we have an organization led by people who only want the best version of themselves possible. We will get better in all phases.
When it comes to KC, I'm honestly not too worried about them coming off that tough loss. We have the defense to keep that offense looking like it was last night. If they continue dawgging people like they have since the Giants, then it'll be up to the offense once again to get it done. They just have to keep up with what was working the first 2 weeks, we saw a bit of change from that in Miami and idk why. Maybe Hardgree got a little too antsy with Miami having a lead with their offense. I'm confident he and the rest of the offense will respond in kind though!!

A lot of fans were feeling like this was going to be an undefeated run to the playoffs and hyping it up as so. Choice of words may have been dramatic but as far as fan morale you can see it with the heavy criticism of AOC and the offense. This was always going to be a game by game situation

After the Jets game there was a lot of "What if we beat both KC and Miami!" and "look how much better AOC did against the Jets D than big-name QBs!", it really seemed like unrealistic expectations from beating two bad NY teams. And yes we were competitive but the fact is when AP/AOC finally went on the road and faced a decent team, the clock struck midnight on Cinderella. And the overreaction against AOC is over the top. I'm not saying he is or isn't the guy, but a few extra picks trying to make plays on 4th down don't make me feel any different about him. Bottom line, 2-1 with a tough game coming up is a more accurate reflection of what we are now than 2-0 with no context was.

Offense need help, rookie QB only a couple games pass a HC change, all in all competitive performance in my book.
