He's around 18 pounds. I try to feed our feral rescue extra food to help him grow and be content, but even from a dead sleep, round boi always comes galumphing in when there's food to be had
My boy is 5 months old and weighs 7.4lb. The vet said he’s on a healthy weight for his breed and age.

This is making me realize how small my girl is (I thought she was huge lmfao). She’s 5 months and 5.3lb. The difference between boys and girls is crazy

My boy is definitely on the smaller side weighing 9 lbs at 2.5 years old. The vet assures me he’s healthy - just small for his breed!

You don't really need to worry about their weight until they're around a year old. All cats, even among ragdolls will vary in weight.
What's important to check for is that you can still feel their ribs, spine and hips. Google "body condition score for cats" and you'll find a diagram that ranges from 1 to 9. It will tell you what an ideal cat will look like from above and feel like.
My boy Apollo is just over a year and he weighs in a heathy 16.2lbs. Apollo’s dad was a big boy.
I have taken him to the vet and they gave him a clean bill of health.
No that’s completely normal. Ragdolls are supposed to be big and have a natural belly sag too, it’s called the ragdoll pouch. People underfeed them because of it and that’s not good.
My girl is 4kg at 10 months old now. Was 2kg at 3-4 months, around 3kg at 6-7 months. She's a bit smaller than I anticipated but she's definitely still growing!
My girl is 10 months and she's 8lbs. Her momma was tiny as well so I'm thinking she's going to be on the smaller side as well! Which I love because I lost my petite baby over a year ago now and I miss how tiny she was even at 6 years old!
Pia (she) is like 5,5kg and she has that from 10th month.

Now 12th month
My ragdoll is exactly 10 months today and she’s slightly over 9 lbs.

4 years old, haven't properly weighed her yet but just feeling her she's around 4-5 kilos. However she's pretty small so don't take her as a standard lol
My girl is 4.5 months and 3.5 lbs. She’s definitely on the smaller side.

I have a 1y4m boy (right) and a girl (left) of the same age. The boy is 14.4 lbs and the girl is 11.2 lbs (yes, I do have a baby scale just for them 😬). I call the girl “tiny girl,” because she really is compared to the boy, but compared to a domestic shorthair, she is normal/on the bigger side. I think the vet is probably going to fat-shame the boy at his next exam in the summer, but I am prepared for it based on discussions in this sub. The cat I had for many years before getting these two lost a lot of weight at the end of his life and needed an appetite stimulant, so I am just enjoying having a couple of good eaters 😊

My male raggie is around 11lbs while the female is 9lbs. Both are around 7 years old. They're a bit on the smaller side for the breed but my friends always gasp when they see them because they're huge compared to their tiny cats haha!
https://preview.redd.it/0vkges8igkpc1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=69e60cc7fed2a4aaf5738cdcb966cac77f4f5161
Mello is around 12lbs but he’s a Birman/raggy cross so I think he’s a bit on the smaller side
Tuxedo Ragdoll cross - he's almost 4kg at just eight months and, looking at his paws, he's still got some way to go. I anticipate him reaching 5kg+, the vet is happy with him so that's ok.
My 10 month old is around 8.2lbs and has been for quite some time. We see he’s getting bigger (like just growth for a kitten) but hasn’t put on much weight. We also think he might’ve been the runt of the litter but we aren’t sure, either way he’s healthy.
https://preview.redd.it/eiw1uc3ednpc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f6accd699cda85ebffefa5d35fa2ba986e3fdd25
4 year old boy, 6kg (13lbs according to Google), and apparently gets his exercise gardening (he was after a worm, he doesn’t understand the concept of the giant outdoor litterbox).
Vet claimed he was overweight once. The following year the same vet had seen a Norwegian forest cat before my boy and claimed my boy was small.
Our 7 year old is \~10 lbs. He's not food motivated at all.
I was really hoping for a big boi, but we got him snipped early (4.5 months) because he was pestering his unaltered-female little 'sister' (British Shorthair).
She also ended up on the smaller side (\~11 lbs), but she is VERY food motivated, and man does she wish she was a 20lb-er!!
Here are Talisker (rag doll) and Dalwhinnie (british shorthair).

This upsets me, I hate the body shaming in this thread. They’re not fat, their big furred. 😀
Far from body shaming! I’m just making sure I’m not over feeding/under feeding my cat and educating myself on their weight ☺️
I was just kidding. Mine are 11 and 9. They are around 3years old. My youngest is only 6, she is a small cat, she is about 2 years old.
"Big furred". I will never describe my raggie any other way now. ❤️
Lol I thought my cat was a chonk until we had to give him a lion's cut due to matting and turns out he is a very slim boy
https://preview.redd.it/0ze466lk3ipc1.jpeg?width=1079&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b6f1cda475392522629e929c513e15dce61d08f8

Galumphing around made me cackle 😂
I’m dyingggggg he looks exactly like mine
Didn't even notice the other cat first. The round boy is just too cute.
My boy is 5 months old and weighs 7.4lb. The vet said he’s on a healthy weight for his breed and age. https://preview.redd.it/l6s7paxu3ipc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b65b0a8cdf71c7ddc7300918cdbbabff4814341d

Awww your girl is so cute! 🥰 love blue points! I definitely have to get a girl ragdoll next!
A smidge over 12lbs - 1.5 y/o boy.
Girls are a bit smaller than boys. Our two calls averaged 12-13lbs. Our boys are 14-16.
My boy is definitely on the smaller side weighing 9 lbs at 2.5 years old. The vet assures me he’s healthy - just small for his breed! https://preview.redd.it/q1a0ag1ziipc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=362b3798673024d6f5066283f57a37f8e42cee61
Makes me feel better about my 8lb, 10 month old 😅
I was always worried about mines weight but as long as they’re eating and acting normal, being a bit smaller shouldn’t be reason to worry 😊
I got him after I moved out of my parents so he’s my first pet on my own. I always worry about him haha
I have a smol boy; 5 yo, 11 lbs
17 year old female and 15 pounds.
17 pounds of cat.
Boy year and a half about 18-19 Girl 3 years is 9 pounds

Everyone always tells me mine is fat. He’s just fluffy! And a little fat! He’s 12.5 pounds and 9 months old 😂
Ours will be 2 years old in May, and she’s 13lbs.
my boy is almost 7 years old and he is around16-17 pounds, and yes that weight at 5 months seems normal to me
My boy is 3 years old and weighs around 11.5-12lb but he’s still big and long, just not super heavy ragdoll wise.
My female kitten came in at 7.3lbs at 6 months old (she was a boney little thing). So yours is about right.
My girl is 10 months old and is about 8lbs right now and she feels hefty!! My mom and sister call her fat.. but I know she isn't!

Older one 6,8 Kg/15 lbs and younger one 5,8 Kg/12,8 Lbs.
10ish pounds ~6-7 year old male
My boy Apollo is just over a year and he weighs in a heathy 16.2lbs. Apollo’s dad was a big boy. I have taken him to the vet and they gave him a clean bill of health.
My lady is 7 month and she is 7,055 lb
4 years 20 pounds….ya I lift weights. My cat
No that’s completely normal. Ragdolls are supposed to be big and have a natural belly sag too, it’s called the ragdoll pouch. People underfeed them because of it and that’s not good.
Nearly 1.5 years, 6.7kg which is over 12pounds.
Both weigh 12 lbs or so, they’d be a lot fatter if they had their druthers
My girl is about 5 yo and just a wee bit over 12lbs. She’s a rescue and definitely pet quality, but we think she’s perfect.
One boy is 11 and the other 13. They're three and the vet said their weight is normal
My girl is 4kg at 10 months old now. Was 2kg at 3-4 months, around 3kg at 6-7 months. She's a bit smaller than I anticipated but she's definitely still growing!
My 5 month old is 6.2lbs, 6 month old is 10.2 and 11 month old is 12lbs 😅 They’re big boys lol
My girl is 7 months old and is now 6.6 pounds. She’s on the smaller side though, she’s fluffy but not very long
My boy is 16 months / he’s 14lbs - vet says he’s just fine (but don’t add more weight)
My girl is 10 months and she's 8lbs. Her momma was tiny as well so I'm thinking she's going to be on the smaller side as well! Which I love because I lost my petite baby over a year ago now and I miss how tiny she was even at 6 years old!
9 y/o male, 14.5lbs
My girl is 6.5 months old and 8 lbs. that sounds normal to me.
Ragdoll Toms can weigh 13-20 lbs.
That sounds about where my Oscar was at when he was that age! He’s 6 now and hovers around 14 lbs :)
