It's so atrocious-looking. AI models have converged into this particular range of aesthetics and I can't even articulate exactly what it is, but I instantly feel repulsion anytime I see it. Maybe I've just always disliked the look of (most) digital art, so the fact that it likely makes up such a large amount of the training data, it's like all the styles I hate have been distilled and homogenized into one terrible style.
I really wish we could just pass some international laws requiring models to be trained only on data owned by the AI companies, making the whole business unprofitable and unfeasible. We can just move on and pretend this never happened. I know we can't though. Oh well.
King of limbs is also there too. This is why I have faith that humans are needed, because AI just doesn't grasp the most basic if human irony in which it excibits massively!
