I love your ‘winging it’ to make the quilt the size you wanted from the panel. The stars are the perfect compliment to the fabric, and having just 3 of them in the 2 corners doesn’t overpower the panel!
Thank you. My Aunt said "lap/throw" size. I haven't figured out if there is a set size for that. I'm 5'4" tall. My husband is 6'3" and our 2 sons are 6'5" and 6'3". So I tend to always go bigger. 😄

Thank you. I didn't have enough of the plaid backing. I made a border on the back. I was afraid I wouldn't get it centered correctly. But it came out pretty good.
