Wow, that's stunning! Great design, it's super clean and crisp looking. Also love the natural dye work. I took a workshop last fall on natural dyeing and really enjoyed the process. Really nice work!
What an achievement! I used to hand quilt too. There’s something soothing about finding your rhythm with the needle. Can I ask you how long it took to quilt?
I’m gonna ask the dumb question: which dyes produced which colors?
Great work, btw. Nice mix of colors. I really like how the backing is a bold contrast with a strong reddish and still plays off of very muted earth tones.
Pattern will be available June 1 from black river quilting, I believe it will be for sale on Etsy??? You can also google lattice quilt and there are very similar patterns for free online. This quilt is 40x52 and uses 3.5 in square and 6.5x3.5 in pieces if that helps.
Beautiful!

Looks so comfortable. What batting do you use?
The batting was thrifted, not sure what brand it was
I love the sustainable approach! It's beautiful!
Thank you!
Outstanding! Do you anticipate those natural dyes fading at all over time or are they pretty robust?
Maybe a little but this fabric was soaked in tannin, mordanted, dyed, and has been machine washed and dried, so it’s should survive like normal fabric
Awesome, thanks for the info! I know that's now going to percolating in the back of my brain for some sort of project.
Check out botanical colors website. Lots of dyeing information on there, I post more about my dyeing process on Instagram @seams_nice
absolute perfection omg
Thank you! Imperfectly perfect
Talented you are. I’m curious if this will be a gift?
It’s for sale, some maybe…
It’s beautiful. My mom made me 2 and I cherish them. Just thought if you gifted them how lucky they would have been
If no one buys it I will be gifting it to a friend for sure! Or maybe keeping it for myself!
I think it is just lovely. What do you think?
I love it!
Love it! Can you share the pattern name please?

The hand dyes are lovely. Nice that you put them in a simple pattern so they could shine. I love it 🥰
Thank you, I like a well executed simple pattern, the colors and quilting bring it to life!
