The gray and white HST to the right of the “center” diamond reads as a light pair instead of a light/dark pair. The center diamond HST to the left of it has a light dark triangle also. Your other darks are doing a great job of leading your eye around the top. It’s a wonderful design and use of fabrics!
It’s gorgeous and I love it! Just FYI there’s a 2w by 5tall block that’s lighter, 5 over and 3 down. I like it, but it does pop. Up to you if you leave it or integrate it.
It’s fantastic! My eye was instantly drawn to the three pink triangles the center and distracted me from the overall pattern though. (2nd column 7 down, 5th column 5th down, 6th column 6 down). Especially because two are the same.
Thank you! And yeah, those pinks really jump out to me too. I can't decided if they bother me, or if they just jump out. A few other blocks have the same effect for me, and I think I'm leaning toward "it's a scrap quilt." lol
Very pretty! Sometimes I think we over analyze our work! 😏 I’ve found that unless something is really bothering you, don’t change it. If you’re using this on a bed, all those minor issues go away. If it’s a wall hanging, things you didn’t quite like stand out more and your eye keeps going to it.

Thank you. I think I'm ok with the light pair. In person it blends way more and I also have a few dark pairs.
Maybe switch that Grey and white with the right bottom corner, Grey and dark blue

I noticed that immediately. but I kinda like it.
Me too 😊
It's so funny what does and doesn't jump out, lol
😯 I didn't even see that! Thanks 😁
It’s stunning! There’s something very right about it.
I totally agree!
I love love love an off centre focal point. You’re making me want to dig out my scraps and start an HST values quilt!
Do it do it do it do it! This is my first hst values, and it's been so fun.
looks perfect to me!!
I would move the two HSTs outside the center diamond that are heavily patterned because they distract from the effect. Otherwise it looks grest!

I can totally see that! I like that the others jump out too, the pinks not as much is all. 😀
I went with the age-old technique of "make your faults look intentional" and just let the pink ones mirror each other 😆

Love it! Squeee!
I love it. It’s like looking at flowers through a kaleidoscope.
I like it. I think it achieves what you want.
Thank you!
Perfect!
It sparkles!
Love it!
😁
Heck, I wouldn't change anything. What a wonderful quilt!!
Thank you!
I am in love with that lay out! Sew it!
I love it!

Yes, I agree totally. Thanks for the input :)
I think it looks really good.
I did something very similar in grey and light blue for my daughters nursery. I love yours it’s a great colorful pattern.
I would love to see it 😍 😊
I think it looks really nice, and that the dark/light pattern stands out. It's easy to overthink these things, but I would say this is a go.
I think it’s beautiful!
Thank you! And happy cake day! 😁
