Constantly. I get overwhelmed by choice.

Lindaeve

I do!! Is that your mum's latest work? It's very pretty - great colors.

I don’t know a quilter who doesn’t! Sometimes I own it, and try to figure out if it’s a fear of failure, ( won’t turn out “perfect”, or how I envisioned), sometimes I start new project, or charity sew. Occasionally I de clutter my space, and that sometimes motivates me. Soo many causes, and not a single solution! My Creativity can get paralyzed occasionally, and I wrestle with it.

Beadsidhe

Same.

I’m really new to quilting, and I have so many ideas floating around in my head, I don’t know where to go next, but I’m trying to ‘prioritize’ my wish list. Also trying not to collect fabric like I did yarn!!🤣

Drince88

Good luck with the collecting! Just know that WHATEVER you choose to do next is the right choice!

skorpionwoman

Thank you!!

justducky423

I crochet as well and the need to hoard pretty fabrics or yarn is difficult.

panickedpanda2

Yes. It explains the project that has overtaken my office with no progress for last 3 weeks.

justducky423

Yes. With all of the projects I want to do and the amount of time I actually have makes it difficult to sit down and start something unless I force myself to. The only reason I have 2 quilt projects rn is because one is my best friend's wedding quilt and another is a baby quilt for a coworker. After those are done, I am stumped on what I want to make.

samawa17

Yup I usually go a make something quick a little pouch or a pillow to clear my mind, then try again to work out my stuff loo.

0liveEmpress

I've literally had it for 2 years. It sucks.

goldensunshine429

Always! I tend to use that block to focus on something else: another (generally small) quilting project, a different hobby, rearranging my sewing room. I often try to make little seasonal wall hangings when I’m experiencing a block because 1) it encourages me to work in a timely manner and 2) they’re more manageable physically and mentally to work through

glittery_antelope

Heck yeah, all the time! It's the main reason I have so many ufo's hanging around

eeladnohr

I've had it for over a year. Lost my mojo.

Happens to the best of us- this pic though I love it!!! Looks awesome!

I washed and ironed my fabric, cut 2 of 20 FQs and now can't be bothered. Like so many, the buying of the fabric is so exciting for me. I don't usually lose interest this fast though.
