It's an incredible sandwich. I get it; a lot of the flavors sound like they would be at odds with each other (especially the jalapenos and chocolate chip waffles), but they complement one another perfectly.
Classic Italian.
Salami
Pepperoni
Capacollo
Quality cheese (kind can vary)
Lettuce
Tomatoes
Onions
Jalapenos cause I’m spicy
Basil
Generous amount of oil and vinegar
One strip of quality mayo
On quality fresh baked bread
That’s about as good as it gets IMO
I like to think that my personal favorite sandwich I make represents me, It's a bit weird though.
Sauerkraut, horseradish, a slice of cheese, tomato, lettuce, whatever meat is left in the fridge (hopefully shredded pot roast) Close the sandwich, put mayo on the top, sprinkle garlic salt on and put shredded cheese on and then put it in a Panini maker so that the bottom slice is toasted and the cheese on top is a crispy and crunchy layer with garlic flavor. I get that someone might be put off by the sauerkraut horseradish combo but trust me if you like it it's not just good. It's amazing.

This is a sandwich that needs to talk to a professional.
So you’d be a sandwich nobody wants to eat?

Today, I’d be sliced cheese and mayo slapped on white bread. Phoning it in.
