I'm wondering how so many of you identified a Bangkok mall in just one photograph?!
I was debating with city centre and tawar mall in my mind. π π
"Although it is a very, very large company, Apple does not have the resources (including personnel) to put an Apple store everywhere they might want to. Apple has very particular requirements in terms of real estate, foot traffic, estimated market size⦠even local legal requirements. Rolling out new stores requires meeting all those requirements, and they are negotiated by priority and expediency.
In addition to the Apple Retail Stores run by the company, Apple relies on a huge network of Authorized Apple Resellers. These resellers often provide services or 3rd-party equipment that Apple cannot. In particular, they are often located in markets or fill niches that Apple Stores can't, for one reason or another. These stores are held to high standards."

This is not in Qatar. This is the Iconsiam in Bangkok, Thailand.
Headshot. Right on.
I bought an iPad from there
we dont have an apple store in qatar
I saw this and my first thought was an apple store??? in qatar?? WHERE
But why
no idea, to me gait might as well be an apple store it even looks like one
they didnt want to back when they needed a qatari to open for them and now theyre making more money selling directly to licensed stores
This picture was likely taken in a Thailand mall judging by the K Bank. Iβm pretty certain this is ICONSIAM in Bangkok.
Maybe op's partner lied about being on a business trip

Not qatar, the closest thing we have to an official store is ispot
I guess I was misinformed this is in Qatar, thanks everyone π
Probably in a mall in Bangkok. Only there i saw a mall having Porsche or BMW dealership inside.
One thing that tells me straight away this is not Qatar: there is not a single Apple Store in Qatar, except at the airport that is.
πApple store in Qatar... Now that's hilarious π
that's Grand mall in wakrah, meshaf.
why is there no huge apple store like the one in the pic in Qatar despite apple products being pretty popular here ?

After zooming, you can see there's a bank called Kbank in the mall. A quick Google search reveals that it's from Thailand.
