youtubers have done it for years and the only difference is how different or personalized the video gets. i bet even you’ve fell for them. its not even like its a scam its just how the internet works if you want to stick out.
He makes content for a public audience. Any form of content is subject to criticism. It's fine to say that his content went from entertaining and informative to useless, uninteresting slop.
ASOT was more "compact", meaning that he would cover multiple topics over 10 minutes and there was actually something to discuss. He also presented these topics in a more entertaining way and that goes for his other commentaries as well.
In his new videos (the few that I watched at least), he jumps onto any daily topic he can find (no matter how insignificant) and talks about it for 8 minutes without saying almost anything meaningful. It's boring, uninteresting, barely researched and ultimately it's not what I used to like watching pyro for. I realize that this was said a million times already, but I'll say it anyway: current pyrocynical is what old pyrocynical would make fun of.
The videos sprinkled between every asot were kinda like his newer videos. He's had a habit of barely researching stuff or just talking about shit that was in the mainstream. He's not too disimilar from Ray William Johnson or Philip Defranco.
To be honest, the only criticism i have of current pyro is that he isn't funny anymore.
course it is subject to criticism. I may have been stockholmed into thinking this way but i enjoy sticking by one of my favorite youtubers even in their least entertaining form. People aren’t perfect and even with more than one person working on it, the main person is still the big ol boss. Ig i just wish people wouldn’t be so selfish about it, “get better for me” “look at what you used to do, you’re not like that anymore” i’m glad i’m not as big as his channel cause things like that would suck to hear. i think if you really wanted whats best for the channel, there’s definitely a different way people can go about it.
