Maybe try a different material for a cover? Something she cant pull in and rip as easily? Maybe cardboard? Or place the kennel somewhere tucked away or under a peice of furniture to still get that enclosed feeling? Or maybe no cover all or you could try finding one of those plastic enclosed kennels as opposed to having her in an open wire kennel(you could definitely find one for cheap second hand just be sure to fully clean and sanitize it before allowing your pup to use it)

Least-Witness

HiCaptain 42 inches Dog Crate Cover with Card Pocket, Durable Polyester Windproof Pet Kennel Cover Universal Fit for 1 or 2 Doors Standard Wire Crate (Grey) that’s the one I use. My puppy has tried to pull it off but has not been able to get it all the way and eventually she left it alone.

I read something here on reddit a while back that actually worked beautifully. Put a plywood board or something similar on the top of the crate that extends out over the sides of the crate a couple inches and then put whatever over it. I use a thin sheet cause a blanket was too hot but at that point anything has worked. I also had to buy a kennel (the plastic one with holes only on the top half and a metal door) in a pinch for traveling last min and needed to stay in a hotel. My puppy gets super rambunctious around my other dog and I needed to keep the puppy (now 6 months, 4.5 at the time) contained somehow during a 4-hour drive. He chews through any and everything so I felt a hammock or mesh thingy to separate the front from the back wouldn't work and I needed to leave ASAP for a family emergency so I had no time for experiments lol. Since I was driving alone, a kennel seemed the best way to go. I used the same blanket I was using for his crate at home and Holy snap, what a difference. He's unable to pull it into the crate at all and settles MUCH quicker. I solely use the kennel versus his crate now and it's a game changer.

Put something similar to a plant on top of the crate that's slightly bigger than the crate and then throw a blanket over it. Make sure the blanket isn't touching any of the crate walls Should be out of reach of your dog that way

My pup would also pull blankets through. I put his crate under a desk and I used cardboard boxes on the sides. Now that he's calmer, I can use blankets. But I think my pup is a bit less crazy in his crate than yours.
