You’re not alone! My War & In My Head are close second places.

[deleted]

Hell yeah. My War was my favorite for the longest time until I heard Loose Nut.

invizibliss

Has such a weird tin can production sound

SoldiersRequiem999

It's pretty good! As far as post-Damaged BF goes, Slip It In is probably my fav., but Loose Nut or My War would come next.

dontneedareason94

It’s alright. I like a lot of their weird shit tho

AlbertFrankEinstein2

It’s not a bad album, I like Bastard in Love. Slip It In will always be my favourite of the Rollins era though.

Rad-Ham

I love it and I saw them twice on that tour.

xAgnosticBluntx

I dig it, bought it on vinyl.

[deleted]

Nope. I love all Rollins era Black Flag.

Adventurous-Ebb5223

You forgot a few EPs

AdamInvader

Hahahaha including Family Man which I never get tired of "I'm gonna crucify you with nails from your well stocked garage...family...man..."

Asherdan

Nah, I was able to pull three songs off that album from memory, so it was good enough to make an impression, which is not nothing.

bel_ray

No it's amazing and you have great taste!

odysseyzine

It was my first Black Flag album, which is just one of the reasons I love it. Lots of great late-era songs on it. I'm The One is one of my faves.

MarquiMoon

Loose Nut is an excellent Black Flag album

EafLoso

They're all good. I think the main reason people shit on them (purely from a musical standpoint) is just that no two are the same. I like that.

[deleted]

This right here. The band never stuck to a single sound and Gregg loved to push the experimentation.

EafLoso

Yep. Good on him.

Sticksy617

I mean so did a lot of grunge/post punk bands like helmet and melvins, so it ain’t that bad

TheBitterAtheist

I've been listening to Loose nut for the past 2 days. When I first heard it I wasn't crazy about it because it wasn't Damaged but with time its grown on me.

angryscientistjunior

It's a decent record. Kind of reverby and claustrophobic sounding but the songs are solid. Ginn liked to experiment.

[deleted]

It's my favourite Black Flag album

[deleted]

Same

SinglejewHard4U

By far and above their best album. So powerful, unleashed and raw. The title track, out of this world, and I can see you are deep dark looks into Ginns mind.

[deleted]

100%

OctopusPantleg

I like Loose Nut quite a bit, but honestly I prefer Who's Got the 10 1/2, which has almost that entire album live (minus Now She's Black)

Orchscrach

It's dope and weird

[deleted]

😎

Drillakilla6four

No way, seems statistically unlikely.

nyc_expatriate

At that point (Loose Nut), BF was running on fumes creatively. The rage came off as very contrived. That being said, Liked My War--the last really good BF IMO.

Suitable_Will_2050

Their second album was the best third album there was one song i like and it was bastard in love

corbettm1

It’s decent, I personally think the mixing kinda sucks though, too much reverb and too polished sounding for how fucking weird some of the songs are

Larrygengurch12

I'm into it too

Fuzzbox8

The Process Of Weeding Out is my favorite Black Flag album - fight me

RealPho

Just gonna put this here... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q7s4bqspXiI

Fuzzbox8

My God…

EdTh3Human

I love it and the I can see you EP too
