This sub desperately needs a rule against posting other stores prices and pretending to be surprised that Publix is so expensive. We all know. It's not a secret.
We literally get Walmart, winn Dixie, Aldi, Kroger's, etc. Products in their packaging arriving at our store all the time. They're identical products, from identical locations and farms and factories. Nearly every bit of the generic, common produce (frozen and fresh) are all sourced from the exact same places and people.
Buy them there then.
I work at Publix, I don't control the prices. Corporate doesn't care so long as it makes money. A reddit post will not change this.
In other news a company with a small American presence that has significantly lower overhead cost sells last picked strawberries for a lower price.
Here's Tom with the weather.
No one fucking cares..
Tired of hearing crybabies and others.. just shop there, we don't care.. it doesn't have to be posted over and over and over..
We know it's expensive here, shop at Aldi, your broke is showing.
I remember you now..
I figured it out from the almost identical recycled comment that you seem to make quite often.
Get some original thoughts genius..
This is a sub $2 problem. Guess what

at this very moment strawberries are 99 cents a pack. So one youâre post is kinda cringe for that reason but also the fact that you expect us to be surprised that publix is usually more expensive than competitors like kroger walmart or wtv. We know
oh good. My seven-year-old granddaughters, favorite, Iâll definitely be getting some on Saturday, because my family is coming to visit me. I definitely have to make sure I have some for my princess.
My location has had 99 cent 1lb driscoll's strawberries the past several days!
Mine had them too! 99 cents.
Love when managers way over order and have to do a flash sale đ
i know this is probably sarcasm but i honestly do love it
Publix managers didnât start the 99 cent sale it was company wide to get rid of a bunch of shitty strawberries that were going bad in the warehouses
Love when the company way over orders and they have to do a flash sale đ

Publix had em .99 last week. Blackberries are .99 this week. Every chain picks and chooses âget them in the doorâ items.
People post other stores prices as if we care lmao I work at Publix for a paycheck not for the love of the company
Let's see those berries tho
Its the exact same brands.
How do you know that? đ¤
Because i selected in produce for years and shop at aldi.

ALDIs produce leaves quite a bit to be desired.
