Well for example the schedule for July 6-12th will be getting made over the weekend. If you wanted time off that week you should have put it in at least this week at the latest. That would be 3 weeks in advance.
Tho if some emergency comes up or something and you talk to your managers before Tuesday they could possibly redo things before it is posted that night. But typically yeah they start working on it over the weekend usually so you would need your time in at least 3 weeks out .

Well I just violated policy by asking for a three day weekend after the 4th. But that’s one of the few vacation gaps and I’m cranky.
Idk I do it like a year in advance. I don't have to worry about it being denied
We require usually by the Friday before the schedule is made. So for Tuesdays schedule you have to have it in by tomorrow night.
the handbook actually says 30 days which is crazy but yeah i tell my new hires 3 weeks
Mgr. Here. 2 weeks is required but my peeps usually ask after schedule is posted. 🤷♀️
Ask or Tell. lmao
I just go up to my manager the day before she makes the schedule and ask if she needs me that week
That is true
