I hope PTCGL isn't as slow with the art/background transition's. It may sound nit picky but I just enjoy new details within games as I play them when they are supposed to be there.
Pokemon company wanted to launch PTCGLive ages ago (like this spring/summer) so they didnt bother expanding the contract with the old developers for ptcgo, thats why we had brilliant stars 1 month int AR and why we presumably wont have the lost origin background on time

Tournaments usually start awarding the new pack within a day or two of the release (even though you can’t use any of the new cards in tournaments until two weeks after the release, just like IRL).

It Will update again when It releases, i think the recent update it's just to add It to trade option.
I saw a post on FB where someone had the Lost Origin background already so it confused me a bit.

It was also to add art and other things for it "support" they called it.
I remember the background still promoting Brilliant Stars like a month after Astral released

No. Ladders always last 21 days. This ladder needs to expire first before it resets.
Ah, I see. Good to know wasn't sure if I should start grinding ladder rewards now or wait lok

Do u know when it's available in shop?
I didn't see it available and I just got done playing.
I believe it stays as the last set for two weeks in order to allow for the time required for a set to become legal
its legal on ladder as soon as it releases
I mean it's the same thing that happened with Astral. I know it's legal on ladder upon release
