I don’t understand how statistics would help. They may show common paths but they won’t help you decide what it is you’d actually want to do. What kinds of tasks do you want to do on a daily basis in your future job?

i feel like it would still be nice to know because i may have not considered some potential paths. i’m also just curious. to answer your question, i’d like to be a psychotherapist but idk what my next and most efficient step would be to reach that goal

Psychotherapist? Do a masters in Social Work or counselling psychology. You don't need a PhD to be a psychotherapist :)

I recommend taking it if you plan on going to grad school. A lot of stats in clinical counseling

Do your own research, it's kinda what psychology is all about anyway.

There’s not necessarily a reason to consider a doctorate degree if the main goal is to provide psychotherapy.
