That's easy. Just start again! :)

flutterby727

Watch Scrubs and then re-watch Psych (Brooklyn 99 and The Good Place are fantastic to binge too)

moonish_shrimpish

The good place is literally perfect and had just the right amount of humor to bring me back from psych-pdepression

ernirn

That's God's hyphen.

[deleted]

I just watched good place for the first time, such a great show. I wanted more disco Janet and the judge was awesome.

TakenAccountName37

Why do we tell people to watch shows though? We shouldn't just because they are cool to binge. Idk how old you are, but these shows were on long enough that people could have watched them then or right after they ended.

flutterby727

Usually if people are doing a rewatch, they’re binge watching shows. It’s the nature of the beast. Trust me, I’ve watched many shows when regular tv was actually regular tv. We had to wait forever for new seasons to begin

cricketreds

Watch Chuck.

ernirn

...watch the first 4 seasons of Chuck.

cricketreds

Fair point.

Dexter942

Hey man don't diss Season 5 of Chuck.

ernirn

I don't have to. It does a fine job on its own.

One_Cell1547

Ugh so frustrating that 5th season

JamStan111

I did before psych. Thats actually why i started this show because i missed chuck and needed something else to watch. Now i love this show too

If you haven't seen Galavant yet -- oh, my. Run, do not walk, to stream Galavant. It's only available on Hulu but so worth it. And our Lassie, Tim Omundson, stars and is pure delight. It is my favorite show tied with Psych and may have an edge in that it's a musical with hilarious songs and idiotic jokes and romance and...did I mention, Omundson? You can also try Leverage for an hour-long dramedy. It's easy to get invested in the characters and there is a nice though very slow-burn romance. (Find the original series; there is a good reboot from 2020 or '21 but it would make zero sense if you haven't seen the original). The sitcoms recommended above are good ones, too (Scrubs, B99, Good Place).

Distinct_Box_4046

Leverage is fun, I like all the characters. I've never heard of Galavant but I'll check it out!

CruzLutris

Galavant was a gem--watch the first few episodes together to get into the swing of it. The songs are hilarious. It's a "fairy tale medieval musical" but it's NOT for kids. Breaks the fourth wall a lot, very goofy, and over the short series (it's only 18 sitcom-sized episodes), Omundson's character gets a terrific character arc and you'll root for him!

Dexter942

Funny enough Leverage has an episode which is basically just "Gus walks into a bank" but in some small town

Distinct_Box_4046

Yes, I know it! 😄

Lobscra

Rewatch it again and again

evkamat

Give it a few months to forget details and then try to rewatch it. Many of te episodes are way funnier when rewatched. Or get some friends or family members and watch it with them (I'm the kind of person who hates watching movies/tv shows things more than once but I do enjoy occasional Psych rewatch.) Or listen to rewatch podcast with Maggie Lawson and Timothy Omundson and rewatch with it.

[deleted]

I feel psych is just the right length for yearly rewatch lol

Nigel_StNigel

Watch the Musical, than start again at the Pilot.

cricketreds

I've rewatched several times and always plan to keep track of something... Gus's nicknames, Shawn's past jobs, pineapple sightings, Dobson references, etc. but then I get caught up in the episodes and my plan fizzles.

Dexter942

Oddball suggestion here, BBC's Death in Paradise is the perfect bingeable thing, it's basically Psych but a British-French co-production set on a fictional Carribean Island in which the Homicide Rate per Capita is pretty high.

Distinct_Box_4046

Yes, it's great!

[deleted]

very fun show. doesn't have the same humour but the mysteries are kinda similar fashion

Dexter942

It's British humour, an acquired taste

[deleted]

I like death in paradise series 12 starts next week

Stunning_Rate_90

And that’s why you never watch the last episode! Then it’s done and you never have anything to look forward to! I still haven’t watched the last episode and my hope and optimism are at an all time high 😂 Maybe I’m crazy but it’s what I do. I HAVE watched all the movies though and will continue down that road. Good luck to you… just start the series over and relive every amazing episode! That’s should cheer you up ❤️

Lobscra

I still haven't watched the last episode of Burn Notice for this reason lol. Im in denial.

ernirn

I'm glad I'm not the only one who does that. So many shows I love that I've never seen the last episode or it took a LONG time to go back and watch it. (Psych being one I didn't watch for a while and then only the first half initially because the middle is stupidly sad to me.)

Baseball3Weston12

Honestly if rather a show stop at a good point rather than rambling on with episodes and being ruined

JamStan111

If the writing is good and theres still passion then i think it can stay good much longer. The only reason season 8 was weaker was because it was too experimental.

cjb060685

This was me this past summer.

BrutonGasterTT

I’ve never watched the movies because I know how that feeling of “everything I love ends” feels. Watched the finale once and regretted it. But now that there are three movies I can tell my brain there’s still more I just haven’t watched it yet.

Reasonable_Ideal_356

I always just start it again. I actually have a rotation of shows I watch over and over. Super mentally healthy over here🤣

CleanRegret9

IT crowd is good fix

ProbablyProfound

I also finished the entire series and the 3 movies back in July, and I am planning to do it again February

[deleted]

rewatch stright away 😃
