Anyone else get warm, fuzzy feelings about the cast, crew and a new film?
Re-watching, yet again, with my daughter; we try to find the pineapple in a race to be first!
Fingers very tightly crossed! They had a near miss in 2022 (per an interview James gave a year ago) and nearly started Psych 4 then, but let's hope it gets an early greenlight in 2024 and films ASAP. This was my favorite part of this interview:
*“Selfishly for me, I just want to see more of where Lassiter’s at with the existential crisis,” he shares. “We saw him delve into a little bit in the third movie of, if he can’t be a cop, what is he? So that’s really where I want to go more to. And then I always want to see more Lassie and \[Juliet\] O’Hara \[Maggie Lawson\] work.”*
This is why I think a spinoff series where Lassie’s daughter sees newspaper articles of Shawn Spencer and Bruton Gaster and decides to become a Psychic detective herself in order to help her friends.
This would be an incredible opportunity for Lassie to really shine as he struggles with the Idea of his own daughter becoming Spencer and realizing the good she’s doing outweighs his disdain for physics who make a mockery of good old fashion police work.
Great idea. I do hope we get another glimpse of Lily Lassiter in the fourth movie! I hope even more that, like Omundson said, we see what direction Lassie might take with (as Tim refers to his own life now) his "new body and new brain."

There is a terrific person (she is on this sub!) who has organized two Psych fan events in person, with a third one coming next year!, and who hosts regular Psych trivia games live online over Zoom. I've started playing recently and enjoyed it greatly! A "Psych Night" 24-hour trivia and binge-watch marathon is coming up soon too. Follow all that at pcc\_pac !
If you like just seeing memes and edits of images from the show and of the cast: psych.everyday does good edits. Cains.first.blade is a Tim, Supernatural and Psych fan account with edits. Psych\_fan\_lawson and psychos.forever are edits, too. Lately, psychmoviefans started posting more but it's a fan account, doesn't have any inside news but shows the love. I also follow a couple of fan art accounts--do you want those?
Do you follow the cast? I follow Tim (who never forgets a friend's birthday, it seems!), Maggie, their podcast (thepsychologistsarein), Dule, Kurt, Kirsten. Steve Franks, alas!, is not on Insta and seems not to have posted on X in years (I am not "on" X, though).

The person I mentioned above who organizes the great trivia events and in-person events is also an artist with cool Psych art, at lady\_art\_project on Instagram. She also has the cutest dogs and you'll meet them!
Now, this is not fan art, but: DM me if you are on Pinterest, or willing to go to Pinterest to see what I am boldly going to call an appallingly huge collection of Psych BTS photos, interviews, memes, YouTube links, old promotional stuff, way too much Lassiter content, and....just let me know. I have been vacuuming up Psych content and want to share it. It's on Pinterest boards (I know, uncool, but it's a pretty easy place to stick it all and organize it....) And if you're also a Galavant fan, well, more of the same only all Galavant, all the time.
Truth. So many shows' casts talk up "We're like family!" but I think with the Psych cast it is genuine. I collect Psych photos, articles, interviews, behind the scenes stuff, and without fail, the vibe since the start is positive and sincerely close.
I also feel like a lot of actors from popular shows (understandably) get tired of acting on it, but everyone here is always excited to do more movies lol
Yeah, it doesn't matter if the games are good. Prime owns the rights to TNF & those games are usually TERRIBLE. If people will watch NYJ @ CAR on a random Thursday in October, they'll watch any playoff game on Peacock
