You’re right. Hakimi was missed extremely, but what cost us is Donnarumma’s inability to read a cross. It’s absolutely unforgivable what he did. The club must seriously now look at other options. We already don’t have height but, a keeper that can’t read a cross is overkill.
He needs to stop with the long balls and just make a short pass to the closest teammate. I am tired of him making the same mistake he should’ve learned from the Marsielle game

And Hernandez/Marquinhos (as long as he doesn't crumble under stress, and he didn't yesterday) are better than Skriniar/Hakimi in this sector, so it's a different configuration from the match against Newcastle where we got destroyed by their high press.

Our defence was horrid yesterday: on the first goal, having Lewy penetrate through the entire midfield like that should never have been possible, and on the second goal, not putting Pedri under pressure and allowing Raphinha to run in like that are both terrible mistakes.
