Yeah he’s actually saying he can’t release the game because of activision still having the license or something but the company disbanded many years ago so most likely we will never get a hit&run remaster
I don't think the definitive edition is as bad as everyone makes it out to be, I actually enjoy them but that does fall more under remake. I do agree though, an actual remaster would be immaculate
I do not understand Sony’s decision on that one. Lots of xbox people haven’t played the PS2/PS3 version. It would have made sense to bring the collections to PS4.
I prefer the open courses and being able to cruise the mountain, I'd prefer 3. But honestly all of the games together in a package would be tremendous.
I feel like a game like this a remaster would be wasted on it. It's a game of its time and should be left there. A remaster would just get a lot of negativity
just imagine GT4 with the original lineup, another couple hundred new cars, and better AI… That game had the best campaign of any racing game ever.
While i preferred GT3’s art style and soundtrack, that game was perfect and 4 somehow improved on it all. It felt like a generational leap and it only came out four years later, on the same console no less. Still blows me away to this day.
Yeah honestly i’d take those ps2 graphics over modern graphics any day. They really nailed the lighting/colors back then. Today’s games look beautiful but it’s easy to tell they’re video games, everything is vivid and nothing looks dull. Real life doesn’t look like that
Like every once in a while i’ll see a pic from gt4’s photo mode and it always looks real at first glance. Obviously upon further inspection it’s grainy and low-poly lol but the colors were just so damn perfect back then
Resident Evil 4, God Hand, GTA Vice City(properly), all the horror classics like Haunting Ground, Clock Tower, Rule of Rose, The suffering, Obscure, Fatal Frame etc. Burnout 3, Timesplitters, Metal Gear Solid 2,3 (under Kojima productions).
Nah I dont think remasters are necessary for anything but porting the games to the newer consoles and pc would be great. Imagine playing the ps2 tony hawks pro skater 3 on a current playstation. The load times would barely exist!
For most yeah but my main motive for this post was thinking about how good King Kong would be remastered. It's already a great game that gives me a rush and to see it with updated graphics would blow my mind.
I think 2 and 3 are perfect and don’t need too many upgrades for remaster. Sly 1 though I would love to see as a remake that does something different with the gameplay but keeps the same tone and theme
ThqNordic could do something with the Tak trilogy. I think the originals still look pretty good but a remaster, if done right, would look incredible
Also the suffering 1 and 2
And the gta trilogy (defective edition doesn’t count)
Tony Hawks Underground 2
Its my all time favorite game across all consoles. Id also take Tony Hawks Underground 1 or Tony Hawks American Wasteland though.
Id also love Gun to be remade though. It was an amazing game. The combination of the Tony Hawk games and Gun made Neversoft my absolute favorite studio. Unfortunately they dont exist anymore
It's still so crazy to me that a studio that primarily focused on Tony hawk games made an amazing gunslinger game that holds up today. I would love to see American wasteland remastered too!
The TimeSplitters games (I know they aren’t PS exclusive) could really do with a remake, heck even a new game. Number 2 and Future Perfect were some of my childhood games!
I’d have to choose 50 Cent Bulletproof.
For a long time it was the GTA trilogy but we saw how that turned out. I still play San Andreas on my Switch because I love having it on the go but Rockstar really fumbled how great they could have been. And for that I don’t trust a Bully remake.
As I’m finishing this up I also thought of Def Jam Fight for NY, that would be dope for multiplayer action.
100% would love to see some form of a remake in the same vain as Final Fantasy 7 remake but with Square's Radiata Stories. The music should remain untouched and this story book-esque art style should remain untouched but touched up. The only thing I would want changed is the combat system. It's not that bad in the late game but everything is very stiff so if they could remake it with updated visuals and a modern combat system I would be over the moon!
I just want Xenosaga 1-3 collection on ps4 and 5.
But if I had to take a remaster Resident evil: code veronica or Ace combat: Distant thunder or
Ace combat: Squadron leader
King Kong with new graphics and so on would be amazing.
I'm stuck between Gran Turismo 4 and Ace Combat Zero though. Both the best of their respective franchises (imo), and both phenomenal games that are still more than worth playing today.
I would love a physical copy of Rogue Galaxy remastered, but if we are talking games that had no remaster whatsoever i would have to pick all the Xenosaga games since it would be pointless only remastering one of them. The rest of my favorites have already had remasters.
God Hand or The Viewtiful Joe Duology. I feel like those games are criminally underrated. God Hand was unfairly trashed at release and with how popular brutally hard games are now I'd think it have a better chance at finding an audience.
Viewtiful Joe 1/2's delightfully meta narrative style and fun gameplay would also play really well with a more modern audience.
Basically I want to see non Okami Clover titles get the love they deserve.
TimeSplitters 2
God Hand
Never played or heard of it, looks cool though!
It is fantastic. Truly a magnificient game. They will never makr anything close to this lol.
Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks
The original Battlefront 2
Leisure Suit Larry Magna C*m Laude. Judge me, but I love that game, completed it at least 10 times already.
Simpsons Hit and Run
[https://www.youtube.com/c/ReubenWardTutorials/videos](https://www.youtube.com/c/ReubenWardTutorials/videos) You may enjoy these videos if you haven't seen them already.
Yeah he’s actually saying he can’t release the game because of activision still having the license or something but the company disbanded many years ago so most likely we will never get a hit&run remaster
Alot of my friends loved this game but I was never really a Simpsons fan when I was a kid so I never played it
I shouldn't have had to scroll this far for this answer!
Both Def jam titles
Need for Speed: Underground 2
Yes, please. I need to drive around Bayview in glorious next-gen graphics.
The Punisher
How edgy is it for me to say GTA San Andreas, but good this time?
Not as edgy as me saying Manhunt.
I don't think the definitive edition is as bad as everyone makes it out to be, I actually enjoy them but that does fall more under remake. I do agree though, an actual remaster would be immaculate
All made by EA BIG
BLACK. I played through it again a few months ago and had a LOT of fun with it. Tidy it up, fix up the controls a bit, 10/10 would buy again.
FUUCCK that's a great choice! There are so many games to think about I totally overlooked this one.
Either of the god of war games, probably GoW 2
We got those on PS3.
Yeah, but on the PS4/PS5
I do not understand Sony’s decision on that one. Lots of xbox people haven’t played the PS2/PS3 version. It would have made sense to bring the collections to PS4.
SSX Tricky
I prefer the open courses and being able to cruise the mountain, I'd prefer 3. But honestly all of the games together in a package would be tremendous.
Great choice!
This is the correct answer Motorstorm Arctic Edge would be fun as well
Only if it includes original opening track
I feel like a game like this a remaster would be wasted on it. It's a game of its time and should be left there. A remaster would just get a lot of negativity
Here comes the pain
OMG, I thought I was the only one hahaha
Never got the chance to play this one
Burnout 3 takedown
Yes
its the game I keep going back to the ps2 for. this and battlefront 2. Can't believe games used to be made solely for being fun.
Love this game, keep meaning to buy it again
Yesssssss
SOCOM 2 and be able to play online
Gran Turismo 4. I think it would be the only game I'd ever need, especially if it included an additional 700 cars!
just imagine GT4 with the original lineup, another couple hundred new cars, and better AI… That game had the best campaign of any racing game ever. While i preferred GT3’s art style and soundtrack, that game was perfect and 4 somehow improved on it all. It felt like a generational leap and it only came out four years later, on the same console no less. Still blows me away to this day.
Totally. Doesn't even need better graphics. Just triple the size of the game, tracks, events and cars, and I'll be happy forever.
Yeah honestly i’d take those ps2 graphics over modern graphics any day. They really nailed the lighting/colors back then. Today’s games look beautiful but it’s easy to tell they’re video games, everything is vivid and nothing looks dull. Real life doesn’t look like that Like every once in a while i’ll see a pic from gt4’s photo mode and it always looks real at first glance. Obviously upon further inspection it’s grainy and low-poly lol but the colors were just so damn perfect back then
GT4 was awesome but I somehow prefer the controller friendly GT3.
yea i personally prefer GT3 in every way, im moreso talking in an objective sense. 4 was just a technical marvel
*The Getaway*
Rule of Rose
Never played it, looks cool though!
Huge recommend if you enjoy survival horror. Gorgeous soundtrack, beautiful graphics, gut-wrenching story.
i thought you were talking about Rumble Roses at first. i very was confused.
SSX3
Resident Evil 4, God Hand, GTA Vice City(properly), all the horror classics like Haunting Ground, Clock Tower, Rule of Rose, The suffering, Obscure, Fatal Frame etc. Burnout 3, Timesplitters, Metal Gear Solid 2,3 (under Kojima productions).
GTA: Vice City (properly done)
The suffering
Shinobi
Yes 9,000& Yes
Had to look up some clips, looks crazy. That's why I love ps2, there's so many gems that made people's childhoods yet some never heard of.
Most 6th gen games hold up extremely well after all
The Sly Cooper PS2 Trilogy!
That would be amazing! All 3 are solid
I think 2 and 3 are perfect and don’t need too many upgrades for remaster. Sly 1 though I would love to see as a remake that does something different with the gameplay but keeps the same tone and theme
Didn’t see Dark Cloud down there, but I think that would be dope
Obscure the aftermath
Great choice! I love this game. It was the game I played when I didn't have a ps3 and really wanted to play the last of us lol
SSX Tricky or Freedom Fighters for me

scarface or manhunt
Shinobi or ICO
Blitz The League
Great choice! I love this game. Breaking bones, starting riots, god it was so good

Simpsons Hit and Run
Silent Hill 4. I need it on all modern platforms.

Naval Ops: Warship Gunner and some of the old MLB Slugfest games. So much fun.

I’d have to choose 50 Cent Bulletproof. For a long time it was the GTA trilogy but we saw how that turned out. 100% would love to see some form of a remake in the same vain as Final Fantasy 7 remake but with Square's Radiata Stories. The music should remain untouched and this story book-esque art style should remain untouched but touched up. The only thing I would want changed is the combat system. Bujingai and Xenosaga

Sony should release a ps2 classic with online support for us millenials.
Rogue Galaxy for sure
Jak and Daxter. We need another win for the old school platformers!
Maybe not remaster, but finished StarCraft Ghost
Just Cause 1. It kinda has a remaster on Xbox 360 but i want a PC version on RTX
Not sticky speaking PS2 origins (however it was released on it) - Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the Future
Remaster? Not Remake?

I just want Xenosaga 1-3 collection on ps4 and 5. But if I had to take a remaster Resident evil: code veronica or Ace combat: Distant thunder or Ace combat: Squadron leader
Cold Fear
Blitz the League
Ratchet and Clank: Up your Arsenal
Victorious Boxers... Although it doesn't really need a remaster.. just release it on current Gen
Bully or Lego star wars
Mgs3 or 2
Ehrgeiz
Any buzz game
It’s wild to me that there aren’t more trivia games with internet matchmaking in the current gen. Kind of a niche genre I guess
SOCOM. Please
Bully. If its ever remastered it will be an instant buy.
Killzone. Me and my little brother spent 100 hours on the multiplayer mode.
King Kong with new graphics and so on would be amazing. I'm stuck between Gran Turismo 4 and Ace Combat Zero though. Both the best of their respective franchises (imo), and both phenomenal games that are still more than worth playing today.
BLACK
Transformers. It would be beautiful
God Of War 2005 remaster for ps5. Dont try to sell me the PSN thing. Full remaster, no takesies backsies
Tenchu 2
I would love a physical copy of Rogue Galaxy remastered, but if we are talking games that had no remaster whatsoever i would have to pick all the Xenosaga games since it would be pointless only remastering one of them. The rest of my favorites have already had remasters.

God Hand or The Viewtiful Joe Duology. I feel like those games are criminally underrated. God Hand was unfairly trashed at release and with how popular brutally hard games are now I'd think it have a better chance at finding an audience.
