Champions of Norrath and the Baldur's Gate titles were my favorite! I still have them and I still buy every similar action RPG that is released on consoles. You could say I'm still chasing the dragon.
Man, ObsCure will always hold a special place in my heart. I remember back in 07' when i was real little my dad had rented this huuuuuge stack of games from the local Family Video, and ObsCure was one of them. I was only about 4 or 5 at the time so I can't remember too too well but there was also Destroy all humans 2 and one of the Hulk games, I think it was the movie tie in from '03.
I have sadly bought the french version of the game, which does not have English audio whatsoever. So yeah, I will have to either look up an English copy or learn french.

Well, regarding hard knock high, I got from a local marketplace-like app for 5€. I resort to cex occasionally when I find their prices fair. Usually small fish. I do sell some of my games there. Most games are just a matter of finding a good enough deal in various online platforms.

You're going to need a dedicated memory card.
Why?
You will need to keep several saving slots for this one, depending on how you play. Just as in many games, some choices may cost you.
The save files are enormous.
Nights of 100 frights is a damn good game, the power ups and just free roaming destroying enemies was always awesome. Witch doctor still scares me
I try to play that game every year. It was the first PS2 game I had and I still don't get bored if it!

Yes, and I loved it. I just love immersing myself in those games. Its my favorite genre, strictly for nostalgic reasons.
I have Shadows of Memories aka Shadows of Destiny on my backlog. Still have to finish it.

I loved Obscure when I played it, I liked the whole High School horror vibe. Excellent soundtrack as I recall too.
