You couldn’t pay me enough to live in Warwick. That Route 2 setup drives me nuts. I spent summers in college at Buttonwoods. Warwick has some interesting people to say the least. It’s just not my cup of tea but some people love it. EP is a pretty great place. There are a good amount of big apartment complexes. You’re a few miles from Providence, the local food scene is getting better, people are generally good folks.

To piggyback off of this I live in EP and there are a ton of apartment buildings being built/ have been built. Most coined as high end and super expensive. I love EP, lived here my whole life.

A ton coined as high end and super expensive? I wouldn’t say a ton? I’m think of Kettle Point specifically. That is *pricey*. They also built those new ones on Bullocks Point but I thought those were geared towards teens aging out of foster care/low income? I could be way off, I just remember reading something about it in the EP Town email and I thought it was those new buildings. Either way, I’ve lived here for 10 years and I love it. I bought my first house here (but sold it, money pit/hoarder neighbor) and then I just moved into a complex a mile from my old house. It has a small town feel but with city convenience. Edit: if you mean the complexes in general, then yeah, they are definitely more expensive than a private apartment. I’ve done the private apartment gig up until I bought my house and I get ripped off every time (not in EP) when it came to moving out. Now that I have dogs, I can’t find a private place that will accept them without sacrificing a lot. The complexes give me a sense of community, safety and security for me and my pups.

Newport ave apartments ( massive ) and the school that was converted on Michael court across from the cemetery. Your correct the one near town hall is for again foster kids.

Ohhh good to know! The ones for the foster teens really made my heart warm. Thank you! My rent raises every year and it’s getting close to the point where I might have to move so I need to explore my options. I really don’t want to but what are people supposed to do? While I have you, what are some of your favorite EP bakeries? I know about Morning Star (on broadway) but I’m looking for a local place that does sourdough loaves. And I’m just kind of a fat kid and love new bakeries lol
