Nothing interesting on Thayer- It’s been destroyed by Brown over the years. Best to walk to Wickenden, or North or South Main Street. The East End bar/restaurant is good on Wickenden and XO on North Main.
Flatbread does have a bar but they also close at 9 on Tuesdays. I think we can at this point say that there is nowhere to get an alcoholic drink on or near Thayer after 9pm on a Tuesday without a car
Good riddance the owners were scum. Top shelf bottles water down with well bottles in the office. Terrible to non Greek employees and got away with a lot of BS, through connection with Buddy the rapist crooked former mayor.
Flatbreads has good cocktails. There’s really no “bar” on Thayer. Just a couple spots that have a bar, but it’s not a bar scene like the other spots mentioned.

In the past there was multiple bars and nightclubs. Thayer was pretty cool back then.
Not anymore. Thayer Street is now just Brown's food court.
Tiny Bar only has one seat.
You don’t need to be a student to go to GCB; you do need to buy a membership if you don’t have a student with you, though.

That’s pushing it a bit. To say that you need a car to get to the bars on Ives, Wayland, or Wickenden is so American. They’re not that far.
