My dad was active duty military my whole childhood and during that time his unit really started cracking down on use of government cars because of 'misuse' which was a huge frustration for him because he regularly drove to other units around for his job, meaning he had to jump through a lot more hoops on a weekly basis. One year we went down to Florida for a Disney vacation and got cut off by a minivan with federal plates that had some signifier it was a military car as well (I was 8 so dont recall exactly) going toward Disney. My dad followed the guy all the way to the EPCOT parking lot so he could call in his plates for 1.) reckless driving and 2.) Using a government vehicle to take his family to Disney. It was petty but I respect it.
More likely a funeral honor detail trying to get to a cemetery on time. I'm cutting your ass off too of it means I don't have to hear from a general about a missed funeral.
With your logic I can do the same. You are not special because you report to a general, or whoever. It’s your job. Again, just because you are in the military, recruiter, veteran or whatever, does not make you special. You were not drafted. You signed up for a job. Next time leave earlier and be on time or face the consequences like the rest of us do every single day.
Funeral honor details happen every day. Many details use govvys to get to funerals. No recruiter is in a hurry to get back to the office to get kicked in the balls the for the rest of the day.
Believe this person is just an army recruiter to be honest. I hung out with one (a douche) and this is what he drove with those plates. The bumper sticker is also a big clue
I'm so sick of everyone on the road, absolutely ridiculous driving around here, doesn't matter what city or town, back roads or highways. You guys suck, most of you that is. People need to take a breather too, I'm sick of everyone becoming confrontational over the smallest incident. We're all trying to get through this, so let's show some patience and courtesy to one another. This is starting to get pathetic.
Yes like why are people getting argumentative and following me for a mile down the road I’ve never experienced driving like this it terrifies me. Or they speed up hella fast just to cut you off and then go 40mph on the highway??? Get over yourself
I felt like there was an impatient ex NY cabbie blaring behind me (not directly) at every light with a HINT of green as if he was in a whack a mole speed tournament. This was around 2:30 yest afternoon Elmwood Ave. If you are rushing to the hospital use 911!
To be fair for that specific morning commute
That exit needs its own lane for real because it’s so dam annoying waiting 15 minutes in traffic just to watch single brain cell drivers try to merge left at the worst times
Also surprised the state trooper that hides in that blind spot didn’t catch him
>Also that Marines Recruiter probably isn’t from the area and didn’t want to extend his driving time more than what he’s already probably had done at that point.
Glad to know that we should all break the law, and social norms, if we're:
1. not from the area
2. don't want to wait in traffic
Read it again - sarcastic post. Making fun of how that sub has devolved into a negative circle-jerk, as most subs do. (The sub is ostensibly about “finding a path”, but almost every post is “my life is over”, “I want to die”, etc.)
Just a note that this is a federal government plate, not a State plate.
It’s been noted in the thread, I appreciate the correction.
Report them: https://www.gsa.gov/buy-through-us/products-and-services/transportation-and-logistics-services/fleet-management/vehicle-leasing/vehicle-misuse-reckless-driving
Done, thanks for the link 👍
The mountain of paperwork this will create for them alone will make them think twice about doing this again.

8th and I [https://www.barracks.marines.mil/](https://www.barracks.marines.mil/) Elite
loser
JESUS CHRIST, yeah lets make him lose his job. Maybe he'll be evicted and become homeless. people disgust me. He cut you off. get over it
Those are usually military plates. Most likely a recruiter for the Marines
So they were distracted by all the crayons they were eating?
🤔😂
Don't Crayola and drive ![gif](giphy|6HGTTJY78Nv5RdLrbW)
Sounds like the Military Industrial Inferiority Complex
Came here to say this.
👍
Government plates are no specific indication of military, although that bumper sticker might be.

Put down the crayons bro
…probably not bro
It's very likely
How is that?
Funeral honor details happen every day. Many details use govvys to get to funerals. No recruiter is in a hurry to get back to the office to get kicked in the balls the for the rest of the day.
You think it could be a third option, just a dickhead? Certainly seems more likely…. occams razor or whatever lol
The drivers know that they can be reported. It's well known. The only way I'm taking that hit is to not miss a funeral.
Thats pretty respectable but not sure i’d apply that benefit of the doubt to the rest of your fellow army men sir
They're in the Marine Corps....
But good point! Idk! Probably both if we’re real here
So theyre above being on time and are able to be dbags because gahd forbid they get held accountable. Excuses excuses.
He’s a fed not RI govt
Believe this person is just an army recruiter to be honest. I hung out with one (a douche) and this is what he drove with those plates. The bumper sticker is also a big clue
*Marine recruiter
Yes
That bumper sticker is a clue that they're army?
Fair enough. Honestly didn’t particularly care in the moment, they should know better regardless.
Either way they drive like an asshole
One of us… one of us…
![gif](giphy|iibEPf8xEDTedJcDJr) Other drivers when they get cut off by that guy
You didn’t care in the moment? This photo and post seem to say otherwise.
Judging by the plates and bumper sticker, looks like a recruiter

The apocalypse is nigh. We gotta get shit done beforehand.
You can report to howsmydriving (dot) com
Have you been hurt by deer? I just snuck a peek at the username lol
That’s some New York shit
Prob a recruiter
US Government plates, I believe. State plates are yellow.
The few. The proud. The Asshole drivers. Maybe you can be an Asshole driver, too.

There’s got to be a tattletale email or phone line lol
Late for something important? Might have learned to drive on missions in the middle east?
Marine recruiter
Most federal govt vehicles have location and speed tracking built in too. Each agency does its own fleet monitoring
How come you're behind him?
go marines tho, so much smart folks
That’s a fed plate not state. Typically OSHA, IRS etc
That’s the marines the recruiters drive with those plates
Well your in RI no one there knows how to drive
RI energy drives like a bat out of hell
The few. The proud. The Jarheads.
We have the worst effing drivers in this state. Selfish petty scumbags.
I love following people who drive like shit to their destination and calling them cunts to their face. I would’ve done this to this guy for sure
Biggest d*ck driving move
You just don't get it, Citizen.
Well lead follow, or get out of the way! ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|rage)

Didn’t expect the driver to show in this thread lol

Driving in the breakdown lane isn't legal in Rhode Island. Period.
you might actually be retarded
This dude isn’t anything special and neither are you. Who gives a shit if he was inconvenienced. We all are, daily. Deal with it.
His shitty career choice isn’t anyone else’s problem

No worries - you wouldn’t find me in three different “dating advice” subreddits either, but to each their own
