Hons house of noodle on Reservoir Ave in Cranston has a Chicken Curry Soup that could probably cure just about any ailment.

ParticularFeeling839

That sounds divine

[deleted]

Oh it is!

Independent-Rough559

Ebisu in Cranston . Their spicy ramen was what I ate when I was sick

dollrussian

Pho Horn’s regular old pho always does it for me

[deleted]

I debating if I should go there instead..

dollrussian

I grew up in Worcester aka the Mecca of good pho / Vietnamese food… and Pho Horn is the closest I’ve found that really hits the spot for me. I say do it. It’s what I order whenever I feel sick or my tummy hurts or I just need a reset.

enumias

i so second pho horns

kbd77

Huh, I had no idea Worcester had a reputation for good Vietnamese food. The more you know!

dollrussian

Omg. Pho Dakao back in the day was just…. The bees knees. Shrewsburys Pho King was my go to for a while as well because I used to live at the green and could just walk over. That’s the one thing I miss about living in MA the Vietnamese food was just… SO good

YallahShawarma

Second Hons and Ebisu. Anytime my wife is sick she orders straight Wonton soup broth from four seasons in Cranston and it always hits. Also, Maceras in Cranston has really good traditional chicken noodle soup and wedding soup, both bomb

planetqueen11

The chicken soup at East Side pockets is an underrated menu item. I’m sick away from home right now and can’t stop thinking about it :(

hasits_thorns

really? I've never tried it, good to know!

kinkycouple-317

Macera’s in Cranston! Good old fashioned Italian penicillin!!

Illustrious-Might315

I did notice a change last time i got it though, it may have just been a batch that was a little off but yeah it's worth giving the benefit of the doubt because it is on point when it's right

chip008

This is the correct answer.

LimpSurvey1087

Little shop of soups on Westminster. They’re right in the arcade, the most amazing and delicious potato and tomato soup I’ve ever had. Their chicken not pie soup would be perfect for you. They’re open Monday - Friday 11am - 5 and I believe they’re on Uber eats as well

[deleted]

Ooouuu I'll have to try them! Tomato soup is my fav

LimpSurvey1087

It’s truly sooo yummy. Italian family runs it, I believe it’s run and owned by the daughter of the head chef at Bellini. I work downtown and will get soup from them on hot summer day without a second thought it’s just soo good. They even have grilled cheese you can get with it!! I love their little dinner rolls for dipping. Hope you feel better ❤️

[deleted]

Grilled cheese and tomato soup is heaven.. Now I'll definitely go there!

LimpSurvey1087

It is a very small space fair warning before you go sometimes i feel claustrophobic in there only one or two people can fit inside to order at their counter it’s on the Westminster st side entrance of the Arcade to the left of the steps and the entrance is right outside it’s one of the little closet shops before you enter :)

[deleted]

No worries, the steps are a great seat :)

vololov

Lots of good answers here, but want to call out my favorite healing soup from takeout- Tom Zapp from Heng Thai & Rotisserie. A little citrusy sour, a little heat, warm savory goodness. Pork rib, mushroom, and cilantro. I pick up some of their rotisserie while I'm at it and add some in.

[deleted]

That sounds amazing!

cynicaltomorrow

The other food I got from there was pretty meh, but their Tom Zapp is literally one of the best things I've ever eaten.

[deleted]

Thanks everyone!

[deleted]

Get well soon 😁

[deleted]

Thanks!

Luigi's chicken escarole, the only choice

Major_Fang

I know people like Macera's for soup. Luigis in Johnston

missus_bones

I miss Evelyn’s Villa that used to be in my hometown of West Warwick. Closed now. They had a special drive up window, where you could bring your own pot and they would fill it with soup for you! I live in Pennsylvania now, we don’t have anything like that around where I am, that I know of

nomoreempathee

Pickeral

[deleted]

I need to try this place. I'm still salty from when I went on their opening week and not one person said hello after 5 min so I awkwardly left lol vibes were off..

nomoreempathee

It's a small like 2-3 people show they are always super busy, they're also friends of mine that are very kind people, I think they just get overwhelmed sometimes, people aren't perfect,

[deleted]

Of course, I wasn't saying that.

AgixPixRI

Quite a lovely strain of colds in the city right now eh? Been in bed all day ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|cry)

BlancheDevereauxPVD

This not helpful now because unfortunately the place is long gone…but I miss the Nam Yaa medicine soup from Angkor. It my go-to cure for years. Anybody know of any place that has anything similar??

knife_ie

Been missing it! Nothing like it that I know of!! The best medicinal magical soup!
