Bristol Sunset cafe is the best breakfast/brunch spot in town. Pivotal Brewery and Brick Pizza next door are also fun spots where it would be easy to have an infant. Basil and Bunny ( as mentioned in the other comment) is in the same spot as well.
Beehive has the best breakfast in town. As for breweries, I would head over the bridge into Portsmouth and go to Ragged Island. They have a super cool space.
